Current TV shows all have interracial marriages, lesbians and vomiting. My bride hates those hurling scenes and I try and anticipate them for her so she can avert her eyes. Vomiting is epidemic on TV...take note.
On TV all POC have great jobs, two parent households, smarter than Asians and always dispensing sound advice to clueless Caucasians. Except, maybe, they should avoid appearing on the News.
We're the counter culture now and we didn't even try to be. Thing is, interracial marriages and female homosexuals have been around for quite a while, so they're really not breaking any ground.
And, of course, Brandon was heard whining to Dr Jill about all the interracial couples in ads. The old racist reverts to his friendship with James Eastland as his mind slips away.
PS and FWIW Anybody who had Chlamydia in the pool for his successor may find out it wasn't the smart money, after all. I get the feeling Fake News is trying to get her to resign. One presumes she'll be replaced by Buttpeg or Newsom. Apparently, intelligent Negroes are in short supply in the Democrat party.
Was there ever a time in human history when things were less sick?
It's as sick now as it always was. Just different symptoms of the same illness, with the same patterns of behavior, acted out over and over--humans, who for one reason or another refuse to dedicate themselves to reality at all costs, preferring to live with their own lies and misperceptions.
Recognizing and noting the weird changes and agendas being pushed is one thing, a way of clarifying what's being seen and heard so reality can be addressed. The doom and gloom approach about how sick things are getting falls into a victim-persecutor approach. Catching heading, but not the truth.
Catchy heading, not catching as mentioned above, but that too I suppose.
What part of "normal" is being missed and mourned?
The era from the 50's to the 80's when women were presented by the men in charge of advertisements, as silly or stupid bimbos, then hot sex objects?
The one from the 90's thru to 21st-century Wokeness where men were portrayed as fools and dolts, incompetent and unable to manage much more than attending to the directives of obviously superior females?
Now we have opposite land again, this time focused on an aberrant presentation of reality as it pertains to sexual and racial diversity and behavior.
All of it about posturing, positioning and manipulation.
The sickness isn't worse, It just keeps shapeshifting, to accommodate a meme, perpetuate drama, and facilitate clicks and sales.
Anybody here tattooed? Every chef now has tats all over. I had a blood test at the hospital and every other med tech was tatted, the full arm deal where it looks like they are wearing a dirty long sleeved shirt.
The male OB/gynecologist who handled my surgery this summer had colored tats on both arms, spiked hair and was wearing orange shoes when we first met in the ER and purple ones for the follow-up office visit. He turned out to be knowledgeable, fun, and an excellant listener with a reputation for being a good surgeon. Also a husband and father of two little girls. I couldn't believe what I was seeing when he walked in, wondering how he got as far as he did in the world of medicine looking like that. And I ended up being grateful he was there, with the confidence and skill needed to provide excellent care and attention.
I experienced him as a burst of good in a sick world!
amper, No tats. My old man was not stern about much. But he drilled into me never to get a tattoo. Thankfully he died in 1989 before tats exploded. I never lectured to our kids about tats. But neither of my kids[both in their 30's] have tats. I abide the Jewish dictates on tats. I wonder if this fad will peter out?
I took someone to the hospital today. While sitting in the waiting room this big old bald guy came in pushing a walker. The receptionist couldn't find his name in the appointment schedule and he said to look under the name Mary and told her he was a Trans-woman. JFC the guy had to be pushing 80 if not older. So petering out is the new fad now.
Was he petering out (from the great denial at the trial) or petering up (to take on the world with boldness and foreign tongues)? Was he serious or in a mood to pull someone's leg?
How do we know this wasn't you, ampersand, hidden in a story, delivering a groundhog to the people who worship the golden calf???
Or maybe the Dude, tired of the mask routine and dealing with the deaf and dumb medical establishment whose lying lips can't be read??
