Every time I click on a Sopranos clip like that I end up spending an hour watching more of them. It's addicting.

I hated Feech as much as Tony did.

Feech was based on Punchy Illiano who was the capo in charge of my neighborhood for many years.

I based the mafia guy in "Hipster Holocaust" on him.

He was a scary guy.

One of the interesting aspects of "The Sopranos" was how well the actors portrayed despicable characters - Aida Turtorro as Janice Soprano, and Nancy Marchand as Livia Soprano - they both played those roles so well that it was tough for me, the first time I watched the series, to separate the actors from their roles. That's some fine acting, I'll tell you what.

But the greatness of "The Sopranos" caused many others to jump into the ring with questionable offerings - I am thinking specifically of "Mad Men". That show started promisingly enough but devolved into a tawdry soap opera very quickly. The production values dropped off, the writing went to hell, the characters devolved into caricatures and the whole thing turned into a series of vignettes with no overriding story arc. What a mess...

@Troop: I had many encounters with this capo in Madison. I worked for his niece in college. Uncle Carlo would come into the shop frequently and shoplift. We were told to never approach him, but to just take note of what he took and that he was testing us. His name used to be chiseled into granite on the 190 block of State St., but last I looked it been disappeared. All of those shops were vandalized by BLM thugs.

BTW, I don't have a drop in Woptalian blood in me, but I speak Italian and love Italy. The Italian/Sicilian mob, not so much. They are a big problem in Italy.

Loving the Mob is like loving the Cartels -- see "Ozark." Unless of course you feel a certain kinship which I don't

One of the lead female actresses bothered me: January Jones. I was convinced that she couldn't act but my wife always retorted that she was so good at her role that she gave the illusion of not acting. I didn't fight back on that, but I did see her in another role on "Pirate Radio." She played the same ditz! Case closed.

January Jones was just a good looking cooze and that is all she could play.

She didn't have the range of Melody Patterson or Connie Hines.
