This place was started as a refuge and I want to continue that proud tradition.
My first thought on seeing this picture was MOLES! as MrM has an active dislike and running battle with them, while I say they do him the honor of keeping the lawn grub free.
And that thought was followed by "FLARS!" before I saw who the author was. It's good to see the signs of spring happening all along under the raked detritus.
Also good to see and hear of change and pressing on happening in the midst of shutdown, with Suck it up Buttercup as as a modern way of saying “get over it” or “deal with it” for all parties involved. Raking up the crap and finding a new way to let the light get to that which is being covered and smothered is the best way start responding to cancel culture and fear of death and loss it builds on.
