The Lefties are crowing that, if they hound Trump to his grave, the ideas he espoused will die with him.
This is what they never get. If you look at all the Commie totalitarians, they all had to develop a cult of the personality. "L'etat, c'est moi", as Louis XIV put it. The Fascisti had to do it , too - Fuhrer, Duce, Caudillo. As I said yesterday, they've been doing it for 2000 years.
As one Hollyweirdo once put it, "We're just waiting for someone we can fall in love with".
Donald Trump is a colorful character and knew how to expose the enemies of this country, but it was his message and the fact he kept his promises that made us love him.
The idea is the same, from Ronald Reagan to Sarah Palin to Donald Trump, America. Freedom. The idea Americans bend their knee to no man.
It's why we get stronger all the time. The Lefties think it's all in the packaging and finding the next celebrity politician. Apparently, they know the ideas don't work.
We know the American idea does. We saw them work for 4 years and, if you're old enough, we saw them work under a guy named Reagan, and earlier, Eisenhower.
That's why, I think, we will win. Their ideas don't work. Ours do.
