Well, here we are.

This will offend some and please others, I'm sure. I held off saying anything until we heard and saw more.

The complete betrayal of the American people, it's Constitution, its laws, and the freedoms for which so many sacrificed so much is obvious. The people can only trust only themselves.

The courts are dead. Congress is dead. Many states are under tyrannical rule in violation of the Constitution and its inalienable rights. This will get worse before it gets better.

Even some on Trump's cabinet, it's rumored, are planning a 25th Amendment presentation to Congress. We'll see about that one. Some say there were a million people in DC today. The idiots want 5 million by the weekend, I can't think of a better way to do it (after all, we're all sick of lockdown, right?). As many have noted, Trump always showed the world his enemies' true colors.

The Left got where it is by violence since 1966, not to mention vote fraud, corruption, blackmail, defamation, and every other low ruse imaginable.

The Bowser responsible for the shooting death of the young woman doubtless wants to be a wheel in her party. I think she'll go nowhere because she created a martyr and martyrs are always bad news for tyrants since somebody thought it would be a swell idea to hang one from a cross because it would kill his movement.

To quote Winnie Churchill at the conclusion of the North African campaign, "Now this was not the end. It is not even the beginning of the end. But it is, perhaps, the end of the beginning". I don't think it ends here any more than it did when they ran Sarah Palin from public life or when they belittled Ronald Reagan.

This where we resist in every way we can. Don't refer to Joe and the Ho as anything having to do with the Presidency. Show no respect for Congress or the Judiciary. Show no respect and resist in every way you can the harassments visited on us by the Feds. Do anything you can to fight the arbitrary breach of our rights in your state, even if it's refusing to wear a mask (only 2 people in my world wear a mask - the Lone Ranger and Zorro) when you go to the bathroom in a restaurant.

The Lefties are talking political re-education camps and I don't doubt they mean it. Frankly, I think the young woman killed today is only the first. Kyle Rittenhouse shot in self-defense. Capitol cops shot a woman because she was wrapped in an American flag on the floor of the Senate (and remind people of all the Code Pink and other Lefties invading the Senate).

We have a demented fool who has a grudge against all the smart guys who looked down on him all his life coming into the White House unless there's a miracle. And, after him, a fake everything who's a bigger fool than he is, so it's going to get ugly, I think.

Not exactly Edmund Burke or Heinrich Heine. As you can tell, I've had a lot to chew today.

A couple of things to remember. Those people inside the Capitol (our guys) had every right to be there. That whole or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the government for a redress of grievances thingy. The Bowser who runs DC wanted trouble. She got it. I think the Reds will find a quiet place for her like they did for Philby (if she's lucky).

This happened because, at every turn, corrupt politicians and equally corrupt others who support them denied the people their right to redress of grievances. I saw an old political cartoon about how the Southern Pacific Railroad dictated the economies of the southwestern states along their route (next time they run the pilot for The Big Valley, give it a watch; it's a lot more real than you think) and was captioned, "When Will This Ass Kick?". You saw the first one today. I think more will be coming.

The Lefties tried to bury the story of a stolen election. Now they can't avoid it. The pollsters tell us 40% think the election was stolen. That's going to go way up, assuming it's true (do you?).

It took 800 years for Spain to rid itself of the Moslems. This may not be as long, but it will surely try men's souls.

The NeverTrumpers aren't as happy as you'd think tonight. The trolls are out, but it's mostly trying to convince Trumplicans they lost today. We didn't. They did.

And, hey, that vid where Trump was asked if he'd leave if he lost has not been disowned by him. Be cool if he stayed.

There's a great piece by the Eminent Mr Surber on the day's doings that may give you a lift.

I've done a lot of commenting today, which I'm sure puts me right at the top of somebody's re-education camp list, and, if I disappear into the night and fog, think well of me.

Good post, Ed.

There will not be any need for a 2024 election, the results are already being counted.

A few final points.

2 men and 2 women died yesterday simply for exercising their rights. Fake News is keeping as much detail of that quiet. We do have video of the woman who was shot, a 14 year USAF vet, so they can't deny it happened because a woman wrapped herself in the American flag on the Senate floor. And never let anybody get away with the idea those people didn't have the right.

Remember all the invasions of Senate and House hearings by Lefty outfits like Code Pink? They wanted a spectacle for Fake News,. They wanted this.

I hope Donald Trump doesn't feel responsible for those deaths. Like so many other things, those lives were stolen by the Left this past year, just like many people's freedoms in Democrat-run states. He released a statement, "Even though I totally disagree with the outcome of the election, and the facts bear me out, nevertheless there will be an orderly transition on January 20th”.

So he has not conceded. Neither should we.

The republicans can F right off too

I think most people were stunned by the depth and breadth of the betrayal. We have a lot of work to do the next few years, but one thing we should start doing now is quit talking about the Uni-Party.

It's the Communist party, bought and paid for by the Red Chinese.

Trump won in a landslide and got beat by a big obvious cheat because no one else in the ruling class would back his play because they prog cult has it's hooks in them.
They blame him for everything, of course. It's clarifying to see who abandons ship over stuff like what happened yesterday - small potatoes compared to the vile shenanigans that prog brownshirts have gotten up to for years and years but suddenly people getting the vapors because government kabuki theater was interrupted. Oh, my!

Nicely put

This is just the start.

They have no idea what they have unleashed with their frauds and lies.

Many of the people at the rally were ex military like the woman who was murdered. They are not going to stand for this
.
They have reaped the whirlwind.

I think you have something there. The depth and breadth of this betrayal stunned a lot of people who tried their best to keep faith with them. Many military people know their votes are regularly destroyed or ignored because the Demos would get killed.

Trump pulled them out of hellholes in which they had no business being. He had their back and they know it.

Payback may well be at hand, as Mr Kipling noted.

Yes, makin' mock o' uniforms that guard you while you sleep
Is cheaper than them uniforms, an' they're starvation cheap;
An' hustlin' drunken soldiers when they're goin' large a bit
Is five times better business than paradin' in full kit.

Then it's Tommy this, an' Tommy that, an' "Tommy, 'ow's yer soul?"
But it's "Thin red line of 'eroes" when the drums begin to roll,
The drums begin to roll, my boys, the drums begin to roll,
O it's "Thin red line of 'eroes" when the drums begin to roll.

We aren't no thin red 'eroes, nor we aren't no blackguards too,
But single men in barricks, most remarkable like you;
An' if sometimes our conduck isn't all your fancy paints,
Why, single men in barricks don't grow into plaster saints;

While it's Tommy this, an' Tommy that, an' "Tommy, fall be'ind",
But it's "Please to walk in front, sir", when there's trouble in the wind,
There's trouble in the wind, my boys, there's trouble in the wind,
O it's "Please to walk in front, sir", when there's trouble in the wind.

PS One of those counted as dead by our ever-vigilant Fake News isn't. A Capitol cop, the one who opened the doors and supposedly told them it was on Trump's order, was clocked with a fire extinguisher (you can't make this up). He apparently had a stroke as a result.

Hey, they look the same, right?

Amartel said...

Shifting narratives about the Cap cop who died. I've read he was outside and not clocked with a fire extinguisher but expired due to a stroke. It's not like the protestors hunted him down at his home and shot him when he answered the door.

edutcher said...

You may be right, but the "shifting narratives" screams something's rotten in the state of DC. Apparently, 2 cops died.

They've had enough time to get everything straight so why don't we know?

Ashli Babbitt couldn't be hushed up because there's vid, like the Hidabeast being tossed into her van like a side of beef.

And the Left is killing itself to make Trump a non-person (good luck, guys). They are afraid of something.

The business at the Capitol wasn't that rough, except for some minor vandalism. If the Capitol cops were defending it like the Alamo, I could understand, but the cops let them in.

And one got away with Pelosi Galore's laptop. Anybody wanna bet on his life expectancy?

Reading Michael Yon's report today was a sobering experience: https://www.patreon.com/posts/45996405

Also appreciated the recent post by Father Fox at his blog in the sidebar.

A thank-you also to edutcher for publically sharing some of the thoughts he's been holding during a time when doing so involves risk. And to TY for keeping the blog open for biz, while it is still possible to engage in free expression online.

Even though I understand the nature and origin of some of the burn-it-down anger being expressed, I need more than the expression and release of emotion to move forward and I'm not sure where to find it. I'm grateful this blog still serves as a spring-board, entry point, and place of connection, along with a few others. It's good to encounter and consider what those with historical knowledge and lived experience with wars waged in the natural and spiritual realms are seeing and hearing. (Some of the patterns Yon took note of seemed unique to his experience.)

As delivered so simply here, we've come to this: The people can only trust only themselves. That, and perhaps one or two others as perspectives shift and reform.

Thank you for the Michael Yon link, MamaM. I read his book "Danger Close" many years ago and don't doubt that he knows of what he speaks.
