Batman is the king of subtext

One of my favorite sites Ace of Spades HQ  has a hilarious compilation of funny comic panels where the words in the panel have a totally different meaning. You should check it out.

It's really hilarious you should check it out.

At Ace's, Michelle Obama is 56 today, not sure how old she'd be on her home planet of Kashyyyk

OT - Does anyone here have the RV bug? Or presently owns or has owned an RV? And if so has anyone here gone boondocking in his RV? Watching the for sale videos on YouTube is hypnotic.

I would like to travel Alaska in an RV. But the RV part is my bride's worst nightmare. I wouldn't want to own one, just rent it for a month or 2.

I have spent weeks on end driving around the country in my camper car. Wasn't an RV specifically, but it was a similar concept, only car-size.

But that was years ago. Now that I have been to 42 states, 3 Canadian provinces and 2 Mexican states, I'm good.

It is a great way to see the countryside. The only better way is to ride your bike. I have done that in at least 12 states, and by golly, you really get to see the country up close and personal on a bicycle.

Cruise America has three lengths available for rental - 19 feet, 25 feet and 30 feet - and I think the price on the little one comes to about $85 - 90 per day. Maybe if you rent it for a couple of months you'd get a better rate, just a guess. Something about waking up next to a lake or river or deep in desert country all by your lonesome, very appealing. But I'm sure people who get carried away and go all in without having experienced the drawbacks, I'll bet they can be quite unhappy about their impulse buy.

A cousin bought an older Daybreak Challenger about four years ago when he was 62. He mainly lives in it in mobile home courts and uses his Harley to do his sightseeing. He was parked in southern Colorado for a couple years and working part time. Now he's spending the winter in western Arizona desert country. He calls me every few months to let me know how happy he is that he made that big move.

I cringed when I checked out the Daybreak after he bought it. All I could think of was all the things on it that could break and how much it would cost to fix it. In fact it broke down twice on the move from Iowa to Colorado but he managed to get it fixed and back on the road the next day both times. - I like your idea of renting a much newer one.
