I suspect when Kavanaugh starts issuing rulings the people cheering today will be highly disappointed. Gorsuch,Alito and Thomas proved their mettle when they voted for states to tax out of state purchases. Roberts, of course, showed his uselessness when he voted in favor of Obamacare, twice. None of these buzzards are there to put any limits on what the government can get away with. To quote Roberts,"It is not our job to protect the people from the consequences of their political choices"
I noted the apology too, and appreciated it coming from Trump in the position he holds.
On a side note, as I've mentioned before, resiliency in children who've survived trauma, is enhanced when there is one adult present in their lives who accepts and acknowledges the child's experience as real and stands by the child. Just one.
