Roses are red, violets are blue;
The hawk in the sky will poop on you.

Professor: The liver, if neglected, invariably leads to cirrhosis. Of course, you are all familiar with the symptoms of cirrhosis.

Baravelli: (Standing.) Sure! Cirrhosis are red, so violets are blue, so sugar is sweet, so so are you.

Wagstaff: ...Now then, baboons, what is a corpuscle?

Baravelli: That's easy! First isa captain, then isa lieutenant, then isa corpuscle.

Madness! Madness!

The poop from the hawk on your head where it falls
Lets loose all your marbles like stars from their stalls.

You can punch out a hawk swooping into the attack.

The Blonde says she did as much when one tried to snatch up Quasy.

She also says they only think they're endangered; just let one of them try it again.

Up there with the flars and the hawk!! Hitting the spot. Providing a moment of awesome wonder!

I found three single blooms open today on an azalea bush that previously and reliably produced pink clouds for the 22 springs we've been at this house, enough for numerous table bouquets. It appears to have given up the ghost after one too may long winters.

A trip to Boston one year was during the month of May. I was blown away at all the Azalea and Rhododendron. Colorado is too dry for those flowers.

MamaM, Azalea-- thank you for providing the correct spelling****

Nick: Sixty knows that flar posts attract the womenfolk.

I hear ya - I take pictures of what I see and for most of this year we have either had no clouds or total overcast thereby minimizing sunrise and sunset pictures. Dude has to have something to photograph. And CL is correct, I do get a lot of positive feedback, especially when the subject is irises. Give 'em what they want, eh?

chick, Good point. That may be why he has dogs, they can be chick magnets as well.

Sixty, I grew up in a town that has an annual chrysanthemum festival every September. The Bristol Mum Festival has a big parade, Mum Queen, the whole 9 yards. There's a huge nursery w/ mums as far as the eye can see. Bristol, CT is home to ESPN and the Mum Festival. I have a retard appreciation for flora. "Deh sho pertty!"

My next-oldest brother's first ex-wife was very knowledgeable about flowers. She knew them all and could identify them from a great distance. I was always amazed at her skill. Then I found out that having color vision helped. So identifying flowers went the way of bird watching for me - mmm - flars. Burds. I know dem!

Flars invite inspiration, the breathing in of beauty, color, scent, and wonder!! As witnessed here they can even prompt an impromptu loosening of stars from their stalls. With music right up there with Flars for it's ability to connect and draw forth, and Burds, Beloved animals, Nature and Ol' Sol following a close second, it appears these postings open up a garden of opportunities for male and female alike to rise and shine, seek nectar, and cross pollinate, with ants, drones, honeys, and bumbles showing up, and hummingbirds zinging in for a fix or recharge.

Carry on Sixty. Bowls for holding and collecting what matters come in all shapes and sizes, with some appearing as posts!
