"University’s ‘Whiteness Forum’ takes ‘critical look at whiteness’"

Students at Cal State San Marcos on Thursday hosted a “Whiteness Forum” as part of a communications class they are enrolled in, setting up more than a dozen displays that highlighted what they contend is how white privilege has oppressed people of color in a variety of ways.

A “white beauty standard” display stated “we are studying the white hegemonic ideals of the beauty industry.” Another asked “who does whiteness say that you are,” noting “whiteness studies” is defined as “the study of the system of white dominion in our society with a focus on ideologies of white supremacy as collective, rather than white individuals.”

White alright!

Brown hang around.

Black get back.

I just wrote something verboten and I feel clean as the driven snow.

Don't other me.

Imagine if you showed up to that gathering in blackface, or wearing a poncho and a sombrero. I bet they would call the cops and demand your arrest. But nobody there thinks for second there is anything insulting or racist about this hate whitey stuff. Now dress up in drag and stay in character, then we have a conundrum.

Cal State San Marcos is just down Highway 78 from me.

Hmm, I wonder who the enrollees are? Mandated for whites only or is a bitch and moan session for students of color?

It's another great example of why university and college education needs to take a giant hit and I don't mean a giant hit of pot. Seriously, more of this BS in the BS degree helps no one except diversity hire faculty.

White Beauty Standard ----> Priyanka Chopra

That said, how does “the study of the system of white dominion in our society with a focus on ideologies of white supremacy as collective, rather than white individuals.” not equal white supremacy? How?

Isn't that what white supremacists are all about? "*I* may be an unemployed drunk, boy golly, but I'm white! W. H. I. T. E." It's the collective that's important, not the individual, and the collective is supreme.

And do the white women who are so impressed by their bravery in exploring this philosophy not actually get the exact same status boost from it?

The people (morons) at the Cal State San Marcos Whiteness Forum are under the impression that they are qualified to define "whiteness." Whoever they are, this is a ridiculous presumption to make but typical of the collectivist, hegemonic left and its infinite urge to define the individual out of existence by prioritizing race, sex, etc. classifications. Things that are not supposed to matter, right? Right? And, OF COURSE, they're going to come up with a dishonest definition of The Other. That's their programming.

"Whiteness" isn't even a real thing, obviously. These forum twerps sound like southern belles back in the day worrying about the dangerous Negro and attributing all sorts of ridiculous mythical powers in the absence of any real first-hand knowledge on the topic.
