Sasse Statement on Election
Lincoln, NE - U.S. Senator Ben Sasse issued the following statement:
"On Tuesday, America demanded disruption. My family and I congratulate President-Elect Trump on his decisive victory, and we pray that he will lead wisely and faithfully keep his oath to a Constitution of limited government. Starting today, I will do everything in my power to hold the President to his promises: to fight for an ethics reform package that upends cronyism and enacts term limits; to lead on repealing and replacing ObamaCare; and to nominate judges who reject law-making by unelected courts. Melissa and I wish the new First Family the best in the coming transition."
The first thing Trump has to do is marginalize people like Sasse who will be a bigger thorne in his side than Chuckie Schumer. Sasse in particular is an odious piece of vermin who was in charge of the House Pages when they were being sexually abused by Denny Hastert. None of this has come out in the main stream media yet by you can sure it will if he is ever a national candidate. This is the type of so called "conservative" that has opposed Trump from the get go.
You can't trust these guys. They need to go.

The Scream (s)
Sasse is a minor player. Trump has a mandate and I think he's smart enough to marginalize people like him.
He'll get to appoint his own RNC chair (love to see Sarah Palin get it) and start shaking things up.
Sasse is the standard bearer for the Nevertrumpers and is the person they will coalesce around. Ted Cruz is too unlikeable and Mike Lee is too Mormon and Rubio is too gay.
He is a virtue signaler of the first water. A "pure conservative." He is the guy they will be pimping. Watch and see.
Tomorrow my cable goes off and I'll be pleased to not have it. Happy to not see CNN and MSNBC cross my eyeballs as I click through for something worthwhile and settle for American Pickers, two guys sorting through junk, or Buried Alive about people with far too much junk. That there's what you call a metaphor. Standing for cable itself. It would be background noise were it not on mute.
I felt like gloating and reveling in superiority and feeling the stupendous glory of enemies crushed, seeing them driven before me, hearing the lamentations women.
But what do I get instead? Rock solid smug conceit.
A fat guy is running through pinpoint selected statistics that amount to nothing at all. Everything presented is 100% irrelevant and contribute to understanding nothing whatsoever, gathered by polling about what type of people went for Clinton vs Trump, with pie charts such as college students make for their papers when they first discover their Windows chart program and cannot keep of it. All based on surveys that ask the wrong questions about things that don't matter and do not, can not, contribute to comprehension. With no questions about things that matter. No questions about Wikileaks, nothing about self-appointed elitists carving out their own strata, nothing about that carving out from the productive sector, nothing about free trade vs reciprocal trade, nothing about balanced trade, nothing about the difference between immigration, legal vs illegal squatting, nothing about graft, nothing about pay to play, nothing about illegal servers, nothing about exposure of national secrets, nothing whatsoever about sense of entitlement to rule, nothing about experience within government, time spent flying around, vs palpable accomplishment. Nothing about real and actual achievement in the real world. Just very very very stupid categorizations of people such as sex and race and age and level of overpriced academic achievement. The last conceit, the one viewers are left with, is college educated vote for Hillary and college uneducated voted for Trump.
That's what CNN has settled on. They failed because so many voters are uneducated. Too many people are unlike themselves. That's how they assuage their abject failure of manipulating the election by their presumptuous illegal collusion between Democrat party, Hillary Clinton campaign, White House, and ALL the f'k'n American media. Fail. Fail. Fail. Fail. Because they are educated and American voters are not. That is how their psyche protects their emotional selves. That is what gets them through the night. What a bunch of f'k'n pathetic dopes.
Begone!
All that college education in Journalism, and they still cannot comprehend what is happening even when smacked across the face with a reality board. POW! right across the kisser, sent reeling across the room, across the street, across the city, and they still cannot process what happened to them .
The fat guy hands off to the smug little sister, with the visage that demands another slap, who repeats, "How can the polls be so wrong?" and "uneducated voters elected Trump."
Shut up, Stupid. This white male with more education than you, finer grades than you, bent the curve on you, harder classes than you, and FAR more education outside pathetic college than you, voted Trump, and with prejudice extreme. You should have see how hard I marked that ballot. BLAM! Trump. Dark as the dot will go. With an arrow pointing to H.Clinton with black magic marker printed large enough to fill the whole page, "THAT KNOWN CRIMINAL? OH, HAIL NO!!11!111!!!1111!!!!"
That's my new thing. I call everyone Stupid, and Dope. Entire classes of people like cable news presenters. Including Fox and Democrat voters. Ask them individually why they vote Democrat and the g.d. stupidest things come out of their stupid dopy mouths and you're standing there thinking, "What a f'k'n dope." You look skyward and beseech, "Lord, look at me an tell if I can stand this one more second." And the answer comes,
"Sure, Brah. First, cut off your cable."
LOL, Chip. "You should have see how hard I marked that ballot. BLAM! Trump."
Everyone who did not worship Trump sufficiently should be lined up and shot.
That's the way it's done.
These clowns will do everything they can to undercut him.
(she still wishes the Beast won)

Yeah, but he was nothing. If he couldn't make a name for himself until now, it will still end up being Junior and a couple of the old guys.
PS For a couple of laughs, we see the Hildabeast signed a copy of Newsweek's Madam President issue.
Maybe she can give it to Trump to do a Dewey Wins pic.
When she sort of sobered up she called an old friend (female, of course) and couldn't stop crying, blaming Comey and Pissy for her loss.
It never occurred to her some of the fault might have been hers?
The blood clot and the booze must be worse than we thought.
Not shot April. Just not trusted and drummed out of the party. You can vote with us. But we don't need you. We never did.
You can't have traitors and cucks in the foxhole with you.
Troop, these guys are the new generation of Arlen Specters. They will doublecross anybody trying to get things done.
A couple of salient points from Surber on that score - what might the map look like if he had the full support of all Republicans and a great line, He said so. And he is a man of his word. People do not do business with liars.
Aww. That she cried like that is moving. I mean, I have a perception of her as a soulless, cold hearted person. Of course, this were tears over a personal loss to her, but still. Heartening, to me. Gives me hope for her soul.
Trooper imagines himself at the right hand of Trump, shining his boots. You decide nothing, so stop acting like you do. You sound silly.
"You can't have traitors and cucks in the foxhole with you."
Exactly. Give them a one-way ticket to political Siberia.
If Trump needs to, he can go over their heads to the American people. Like Reagan did. But a POTUS has a 100 ways to reward to his friends and punish his enemies.
First Trump should repeal Obama's executive orders and then start issuing his own.
I am not acting like anything but a loyal supporter telling him what I think he should do. That's all. I hope he will follow my advice. I wouldn't steer him wrong. I have his best interests at heart unlike other people I could mention.
The only ones who sound silly are the people who pissed on him the whole election season and expect that he would listen to them. You know people like Karl Rove and Megyn Kelly and Paul Ryan and the rest. That who is really silly.
He has to do what Andrew Jackson did.
Open up the government to the people. Close down the Bank. Fire the civil servants and put his own guys in there. I bet there are a bunch of little guys with yarmulkes from Borough Park he could put in there to get shit done.
Ryan is ready to rumble.
Off with his head!
Ryan is emboldened by a Trump presidency because in reality he fears a Trump presidency.
Ryan rumbles with nobody, but he folds like a damask napkin.

You broke the code. It is The Art Of The Deal.
First Trump should repeal Obama's executive orders and then start issuing his own.
IIRC that's exactly what he intends to do.

Quite. It is 1828 all over again and Rudy Giuliani agrees with you.
" I have his best interests at heart unlike other people I could mention."
I'm sure that means a great deal to both of you, but I'm more interested in what's best for the country.
As to who helped him, that goes to the people who got him to control himself the last few weeks of the race. The exact opposite of what you were calling for. That's what saved him in a very close race where his opponent actually got more votes than him. He would have lost without people like me who put country ahead of personal feelings. He would have lost without people voting outside their tribe. He would have lost if we chose to ignore our Constitution. He would have lost if he only had Trumpers. Attacking the people who got him there is pretty lame. Be careful. If he finds out you do that, he might unfriend you.
Ryan stabbed him in the back after pussy-gate and thought he'd killed Trump. Now, trump is alive and in charge - he wants to be nice.
Trump has dealt with backstabbing shits like him in business. You never forget, and when the chance comes you kick them out. If they betray you once, they'll do it again.
The country didn't elect Ryan speaker, an unknown number of corrupt congressman did - in secret. Once they know they can get more for themselves and their districts by playing ball with Trump, they'll kick Ryan out.
I am thinking Trump will tap Sanders, maybe for a cabinet post. He would have more in common with Bernie than Sarah Palin.
You're being silly.
But, we learn that, like the Lord High Executioner in "The Mikado", The Donald has a little list of all the Whigs who tried to screw him.
The Klingon proverb comes to mind.
Trump Humpers already want to sabotage the best efforts of a united GOP to repeal Obamacare. Trump Humpers would rather shoot and kill anyone who ever doubted their precious demi-god.
Meanwhile - It really does look like Trump won't recommend prosecution of Hillary. Her crimes are no biggie - we gotta heal and stuff.
We had a whole bunch of traitors and cucks who got up in front of the American people and LIED about supporting Trump for President. Then, they tried to help Hillary get elected by undercutting Trump and then proudly announcing they were refusing to vote for him.
Jeb, Lindseed Graham Cracker, Kasich, Cruz, McCain, Ryan - they should all be frozen out and punished by trump in some way. You can't trust a cuck.
And that goes for the pundits too. George Will, Kristol, Cheetos McCuck, Red state, Hot air, National Review, Goldberg, Lowrey, did everything they could to elect Hillary. They should get zero interviews and access in a Trump administration.
There is no united GOP. The GOP needs to be smashed. They never intended to repeal Obamacare. They could have done it if they had the balls.
Trump can't work with Ryan, McConnell and all the rest. McConnell has already said he will not build the Wall. Trump needs to start as he means to continue. He will never have as much power as the first 100 days. He needs to put the pedal to the metal.
