This is why Twitter is bad your soul

And also hilarious at the same time. Have a look, if you dare. And if you read all the way down, you're probably certifiable yourself.

Spoiler: It's a Drudge tweet promising an explosion regarding Hillary and sex. Then Drudge twitter followers pile on, and I mean PILE on, with their own collections of 'text on picture' posts.

Wikileaks is under attack by Obama. A very smart Sharyl Attkisson said last week, that while she has no first hand info, the Clinton/Obama people seem to believe something "Very, very" bad is coming. Wikileaks says a "contingency plan" has been activated. Politico did a piece yesterday about how Clinton people are very nervous.

edutcher said...

I'd say so.

I know how nd loves to go after Trump, but, if he weren't doing well, this kind of thermonucular annihilation would be unnecessary.

Drudge must have the bomb if they're shutdown Assange's internet connection. Filthy globalists.

I don't twitter, I don't facebook, I don't swim around in porta potties...

It really irks me when the newscast quotes some random guy's tweet on a subject. It's usually some completely bland nothingburger from - not only just some anonymous person - but someone who spends their time tweeting to the talking heads. How is that of any value to us? Better to pick a random word and 140 characters of definition from the dictionary.

Have to admit that the "guard your pussy" one was pretty good, and I like the Hillary on Yoko too.

I would think if Wikileaks wants to let out the really bad stuff, it would be today or tomorrow.

What do you know, the sun came up in the east today.

The one of Trump grabbing Jeb was well done too, especially since Jeb's hand looks to be going in for a measurement.

I did like the scissors gif.

Funny, I did too; except the actual scissors gif. The cartoonish one was too crass.

Drove over to Capital City yesterday and went to the fair. Many people were openly wearing Trump gear. That was different.

Today I drove by the crime scene, it was crawling with cops. One newspuke set his camera up in the roadway. I gave him a brush back pass with my truck and flipped him off. How about that - speaking truth to power - oh yeah!

Who was that guy Troop kept mentioning? Yeah, that works, unless the place is crawling with fuzz.

The point about Jake Lingle was it was a huge story. Of how the mob killed a crusading journalist. Of course when they looked at him they found out he was mobber up. Took bribes. Was a big gambler and had an interest in the illegal racing wire. He was out and out corrupt.

Just like our mainstream media today.

Trooper York said...

If I were a Trump surrogate I would tell them to go on Meet the Press and say this:

"The press has abdicated it's responsibility of being impartial and telling the truth. They have become the enimies of the American People. They are the tools of the duopoly and the elite. They want to shut up and die. They are partisans. Democratic partisans. So when the ask to interview you refuse. In fact don't let them interview anyone. Stand in front of them and chant something. USA. Trump. This time a chant next time a bullet. Let's see what happens."

Rush's 2nd hour opening monologue is right on. It clearly states the problem with the GOP and why Trump is the best shot for the former Republican base.

Joe Biden, America's Putin said...

I cannot stand Rush anymore. Bubble dwelling self-absorbed bore.

All the old bore right pundits are looking for the scapegoat.

Trooper York said...

Of course you can't stand anyone who supports Trump. He is biting into your girl Hillary. Predictable. Sad.

Amartel said...

There's no case for Clinton except Not Trump.
There's no case for Not Trump that has not been excused in the past by the MFM in Democrat candidates, including Clinton herself.
-Clinton's lack of experience did not pose any serious issue when she ran for Senator. Obama's lack of experience was "refreshing" and "new"
-Clinton's grotesque incompetence in office is not an issue of concern
-Clinton's lying to the American public? Crickets
-Clinton's attacks on women claiming sex assault and casual and unprofessional mockery of the victim of child sex assault? Not problematic
-Clinton's various policy positions, private and public, and politically opportunistic policy evolutions (as on gay marriage)? Whatever
-Clinton's verbal assaults on wide swathes of voters, including her own base? Crickets.

There is NO CASE for Clinton unless you believe that the status quo and business as usual is acceptable.
Any dispute on this?

Joe Biden, America's Putin said...

No - Troop. I've been bored with Rush for a while now. His guest host "Buck Sexton" is awesome. Rush is boring self-absorbed and repetitive. Rush should hang it up.

The Dude said...

I gave up on that junkie Rush when he took so many pills that he went deaf. He works in radio. He needs his hearing. He is a self-aggrandizing addict.

Joe Biden, America's Putin said...

Agreed, Sixty. It's always about him. Hannity is the same.

deborah said...

hannity is such a dope, but i don't mind him like i used to. rush is unlistenable.

Trooper York said...

Wait a minute? An entertainer who is all about himself with a big ego and a narcissistic personality? Well that's unique right there.

You haven't mentioned Rush that I recall. You only announced your distaste when he refused to be Nevertrump like you. Predictable. Sad.

Leland said...

I cannot stand Rush anymore.

Too bad, sad. Most of that opening monologue would have worked for Cruz as well as Trump. The short of it is that the GOP kept begging for more power, getting it by record turnout, and then failing to deliver afterwards. The base got tired of people who wouldn't fight, so they went for someone that would.

But I will agree a bit on the self-aggrandizing, because I made a similar remark about Hannity. I quite listening to Hannity in 2008, and as I said previously, it is because Hannity was so proud of his "Stop Hillary Express" that he was late to realizing what we might get from Obama.

I listened to Rush daily in the 90's, but listening has declined since Bush '43 entered office. Bush sucked, and Rush aggrandized Bush and the GOP more so then remarking about their out of control spending and transfer of Legislative power to write regulations to the President. I didn't need Rush to tell me that Obama sucked. Still Rush, like FoxNews, is still the regular broadcast media closest to sharing my view. So if I want background noise with some news; Rush gets a listen.

If I want real news; I actively find it myself.

The Dude said...

Let me put it another way - if you agree with Rush, what is the point in listening to him? His show is nothing but advertising. If you disagree with him, what is the point of listening to him? There isn't one.

So, I don't listen to him. The fact that he is a junkie is just added incentive for me to avoid him altogether.

Amartel said...

I don't listen enough to mind either of them. I find Rush amusing and entertaining on long trips whereas Hannity's super-patriot country-music listenin' boy-next-doorin' earnestness starts to grate pretty quickly. Purely subjective preference. I cannot stand that blowhard O'Reilly. Ever.

deborah said...

lol i have a soft spot the blowhard.

Trooper York said...

I don't listen to either Rush or Hannity. I did years ago but like anything over time it gets repetitive. I don't watch Hannity on cable because I gave it up. I used to listen to Levin until he went off the rails regarding Trump.

The people who have lost the American Public are the conservatives. Or the "so called conservatives." Paul Ryan. Mike Lee. Ted Cruz. That pip squeek cunt Ben Sasse. Did you know that he was in charge of the Congressional pages when they were being prostituted to Denny Hastert and Democratic homosexual congresspeople. Imagine the press attacking him on that one. Of course these worthless cocksuckers (literal cocksuckers like Miss Lyndsey Graham) fainted and shit their pajama boy pajama's because Trump talked some trash or put some moves on some bimbos who wanted to hook up with him because he was rich. It is just so ridiculous. So self righteous. So pompous and condescending. So false.

This is the last chance for the Republican party. It will not go back to business as usual. They will not get reelected pretending that they will fight Hillary and then lie down with their legs spread like the filthy whores that they are.

The Tea Party came first. Then Sarah Palin. Then Trump. What comes next will be different. They think they are aghast at Trump? Just wait. They won't know what hit them.

You guys should all listen to Savage. At least it's not politics politics politics all the time. Sure, he does his rants but then he'll sidetrack into the pizza he's got to have even though he knows it's going to kill him ha ha ha ha ha.

Trooper York said...

Trump will not be that candidate. He will be the elder statesman. An elder statesmen who can go out and campaign for the newer slicker more dangerous candidate. Whipping up crowds just the way he is doing now. I think they will follow the Trump model. Use a celebrity not a greasy politician. I think they are grooming somebody like Tom Brady to be that guy.

Trumps's new news network will promote him or her. They will destroy Fox News which is in rapid decline. Hannity and O'Reilly will both jump to Trump News. The idiot Murdoch kids are putting their money on Rhino liberal twats like Megyn Kelly and Shep Smith. FOX is just like the NFL. They have alienated their core audience. The edifice is rotten and corrupt. It might stand up for a while because of inertia but given an alternative they will fall and disintegrate.

Amartel said...

Savage is from my hometown, San Francisco. I very occasionally get him on the ride home and his personal story stuff can be hilarious. Fave anecdote is about how he was out on the Bay chugging around in his big motorboat and got a dirty look from some filthy hippie kayaker. He did about an hour just on that one encounter. Good knowledge and appreciation of this crazy city with appropriate derision for about 80-90% of its population and all of its apparatchik. He's like Levin in that he's not convincing to the unconvinced. Gets kind of ranty. Probably convinces them that they're right.

Amartel said...

If the Drudge tweet is correct and Hillary is about to "get hers" re: sex (assuming its allegations of some sort of sexual misconduct) then, really, what is left of the Case for Hillary other than the MFM interference on the play?

Trooper York said...

I still think that Trump will win. What I fear is that he will win the popular vote but lose in the electoral college because of vote fraud and manipulation by both the Democratic and Republican establishments.

That is a recipe for a conflagration.

Trooper York said...

A Trump News Network would be even more useful for a President Trump. Imagine him doing a Sunday morning show on his own network. With Cabinet secretaries only appearing on his network. Shutting out the rest of the corrupt media. Sweet.

ricpic said...

Ya know Trump said something interesting on today's show: that the trouble we're in boils down to Congress having abrogated its power and responsibilities. The unwillingness to impeach combined with the unwillingness to use the power of the purse has permitted the executive branch to go hog wild. Okay, good enough I'm thinking but why? Why has Congress abrogated its power? What is a congressman's job? Not as we see it, as he sees it. To remain a congressman. To keep the job. And the surest way to lose the job is for him to become "controversial." In other words taking a stand threatens loss of the job. Of course that has always been the case but today it is moreso, what with the two headed Establishment and its mouthpiece MSM. Taking an anti-establishment stand confers instant controversial status which translates to loss of important committee memberships loss of power and prestige and eventually loss of the job. So Congress abrogates.

Amartel said...

Except that, as this election has shown, the Establishment is a kind of a paper tiger. The people supporting it are (1) government employees; (2) dependents; (3) unions and other cronies. That's not the majority of the people, though it may be close what with all the dead people voting and the zombies voting multiple times. If there's a concern about controversy, it is strictly about pissing off the establishment inside the beltway and the journolist.

ricpic said...

Oops, I meant Rush said something interesting.

edutcher said...

ric, another endorsement for Congressional term limits.

If Congress stopped being a lifetime job, if they had to live in the real world, they'd be a little more responsible.

Remember how McGovern found out what running a business was like when he retired?

As detestable as Assange is, he has done something that not even Snowden could accomplish and it is very telling that he is squirreled away in that Ecuadoran embassy in the UK and has diplomatic protection. However, I wonder how far that will go. I don't like Assange and I never have, but given that, he has shined the light on the cockroaches of the left in the US and they are scurrying in any way they can to get out of it. He's their Raid and they know they are fucked, but will they simply limp forward and ignore it all? I don't see how they can.

Amartel said...

Wikileaks is the only reason this race is as close as it is. The MFM would never have released this information. Ever. In a millionzillion years. We'd have a repeat of 2008. Another coronation of another corrupt product of nepotism and other disgusting DNC grooming trix followed by another eight years of the dismantling of the United States of America. All the MFM can do now is bury it, pretend it's not there, tell their viewers it's "illegal" to access Wikileaks and hope they're sheep enough to go along. Assange says he has a contingency plan. Let us hope so. The United States needs this information before it goes to the polls. The sooner the better. And President Trump better let this guy off the mat if he's elected.

Leland said...

Troop, I hope you are right about Trump winning. What I am starting to fear is he will "lose in the electoral college because of vote fraud and manipulation by both the Democratic and Republican establishments." Project Veritas, as well WikiLeaks, is showing everyone how it is being planned. If people still think it can't happen; I refer them to Austria.

Can't you just smell him?

I read in some place reliable a woman relate her firsthand experience about Assange coming to stay with her and her husband and that Assange is the worst houseguest ever. She went into detail of his uncouth habits. And now that I look for it I see that a ton of places carried the story.

And that's shaded my view of him ever since then. By shade I mean darkly colored.
