Another fake out afternoon storm. So much strum und drang, so much electricity released up there, so much frightening of pet dogs all over the place, and so little water delivered, but we'll take it and like it, love it in fact.

You need to come down to a more reasonable level and breathe. 3250 ft. :-) Actually, Denver is quite beautiful, I hear. One of the cities that I haven't visited but would like to someday.
I just climbed the 6th highest peak in the state last week. Umcompahgre has been on my bucket list for many years. It was an amazing hike. The views - phenomenal.

What's your elevation there? I've heard that rain above xx sea level is rare.

14,306. 3000 ft elevation gain. Knees ready to buckle on the way down.
460 ft above seal level here on the banks of the Mississippi.
