As God is my witness...

So, is this an opportunity for a new picture book - Where's Erdogan?

Or a new app - Erdogan Go!

Turkey has long been the model for secular Islamic states, so dumping Erdogan makes sense for them.

The big question is whether the Islamic crazy movement is burning itself out.

Maybe too much to hope.

ISIS has jumped the shark. There is nothing left they can do but kill and thereby anger more people, and embarrass more Moslems. They are not winning much any more and will now look desperate as the world starts to coalesce around their destruction. This will kill their support. It would have happened even if Obama and his entire administration spent the last four years hiding in a bunker, because they did little to stop them. ISIS is destroying itself now, because it always had no future, had no self-discipline, and destruction is all it knows.

Hard to fly when your ass is full of lead.

Sorry, bags, but this is what drives their support.

If it succeeds, it will be good news.

He's probably sneaking into Germany right now. If there's any justice he should ass rape Merkel when he gets there.

Looks like it is failing, the coup... too bad. Now it will really turn into an islamist shithole. Hope I'm wrong, though of course some are gleeful at that prospect.

We'll see.

Drudge is getting its report from Bloomberg and they're taking reports from Erdogan's people.

What you'd expect, BlackLives idiots outraged people care more about Nice.

I guess the Days of Rage was a bust.

Suddenly, I'm hit with the notion a lot of this nonsense is fizzling out as Pissy ends not with a bang, but with a whimper.

The Coups are down 13 heading into the two minute warning.

Might be the first time Obama has picked a winner.

It appears Erdogan has won. This will do nothing to improve his disposition. A great many more deaths will follow. I wouldn't bet against Turkey going the route of Libya and Syria.

Turkey does have an "If at first you do not succeed" history.

FWIW Fox seems to be implying it might not be over just yet.

Not unlike Lincoln saying the Civil War was over just because Lee had surrendered.

Exactly William. Turkey had a chance to stop itself from sliding into the abyss of radical Islamic religious control and the repressive nature that the rest of the Middle East and Iran have taken. Now that the military coup has failed (for this time anyway) the country is likely lost and the chaos around the world will get even worse.

America has a decision to make right now. Do we continue our own slide into socialism or more accurately a fascist oligarchy. We are now almost completely a combination of oligarchy (oligarchy is a government run by only a few, often the wealthy) and fascism (fascism is (historical) a political regime, having totalitarian aspirations, ideologically based on a relationship between business and the centralized government, business-and-government control of the market place, repression of criticism or opposition, a leader cult and exalting the state and/or religion above individual rights )

Hillary is he embodiment of the oligarchy and her fascist tendencies to try to get rid of our rights as embodied in the Bill of Rights are indisputable. Trump is not all those things. And while many are not thrilled with Trump, wishing for something else when THESE are the two choices on our plate and the ONLY two choices at this time is to just whistle past the graveyard.

If we have a Hillary Presidency, we can kiss our country and likely our asses goodbye.

Choose wisely. This may be our very last chance to choose without deaths.

Obama supports Edrogan, because of course he would.
