What will be the "turns out cigarettes are bad for us." of our generation?

Best rated Reddit comments:
We shouldn't have been giving people handfuls of antibiotics for common ailments.
Porn, for the negative sexual effects some seem prone to when using heavily.
Not getting enough sleep.
Sitting for hours on end.
I hope it's not WiFi.
Giving babies iPads.
Looking down at your phone all day is doing wonders for your back and neck
Social media. When used the wrong way, it literally becomes a drug to your brain. There will be negative effects for those who overuse these outlets.

I'd rather change the subject to "Turns out butter and salt aren't so bad for you."

Marijuana.

Sorry, nd, but did you know pot not only increases your chances of lung cancer, but testicular cancer?

Also inhibits blood flow to the brain.

PS chick, you have a point there.

I do think the BLM movement is about suggesting local PD's cannot police themselves, creating a system of lawsuits against the PD's (think the environmentalist serial lawsuits against the EPA), thus giving a pathway to reparations, followed by a federal police force (because necessary step to globalization), and somewhere along the way the removal of gun rights (because militias will be outlawed too).

So expect all those things to be the new "turns out these were bad for us" with lawsuits like the tobacco industry.

Children raised without the influence of a father or a consistent, male presence with which to relate.

Limiting school choice options to one system, particularly for the poor and presenting college as a necessity while failing to honor the worth and need for competent leaders and problem solvers in the skilled trades.

If the generation asking is the millennials, than the answer is the millennials.
