Hitchens On Hillary

1:52  "It's so obvious you can see as with everything Mrs Clinton does -- you can see the machinery working...you can see the wheels turning inside her head whenever she makes her maneuvers."

3:50: "Sometimes you think it's possible of her caring about something besides herself."

5:05: "Iron Ladies do not say 'the boys are ganging up on me.'"

8:50:  "The rage of the entitled..."

12:08:  "She and her husband have never met a foreign political donor they didn't like."

14:55 He's really bothered by Marc Rich

There's much more.

And, Hitchens on Trump:

But it's just cool if a professional politician says the same thing after spending his entire adult life in DC and you know he just wants the kick of being in the top spot?

Hitchens, like a lot of Lefties, tosses that Fascist thing around like he knows what it means.

On the Tea Party, Hitchens quipped "All Politics Is Yokel"

Hitchens, like a lot of academe, doesn't like business. He'd probably be hostile to bags, our own wealth maker.

@Chip: Just skip it then. It's old.

Probably. He never had a job where he got his hands dirty, and he was quite late figuring out the left was the real anti-freedom pole. I wouldn't be hostile to him, but I have less respect for the opinions of those with that life arc. Despite his bisexuality, I bet he couldn't unclog his own drain.

The whiff of fascism is coming from inside the house.
(Whispering: It's in the draaaaiiin.)
I get what he's saying. It's not enough to just say "I'm a successful business guy and I'm here to solve the nation's woes." But WHY is that fascistic?
I enjoyed Hitch tremendously but he could get overly pleased with himself.
