I think we discussed this.

Rock is being funny, but regardless of race, creed, or color, always good rules to live by.

PS A couple of points on the Castile thing we haven't seen yet. No dash cam footage or radio dispatch transcript has been released. And there does seem to be some concern if his CCP was valid.

His itemized violations are listed with disposition. Maybe it's me, but I think there's a pattern among the dismissals that doesn't compute.

Some concern whether he was a member of the Crips. As yet, unresolved.

ed, that is the classic poor man's (white or black) list of traffic citations. You get a few tickets, can't afford insurance, yet still need to drive to work. It is a downward spiral.

There is no excuse for it, you need insurance to drive. But it happens all the time. Ironically, you are better off as an illegal immigrant than a citizen with this sort of thing, because immigrants almost never pay them (and still keep driving). Immigration courts don't care about traffic citations.

Courts recognize it (they see it all the time) and they know throwing more fines on top of existing ones won't help. Hence the reason the courts may have let him go.

I just want to know the truth of what went down. We will find out soon enough.

E, spare me the violins.

There's always bargain basement insurance and we've got food stamps and public housing and whatever in this country, there's always a place you can cut. And sometimes you do have to take the bus.

My question is, why all the driving while suspended dismissals. MN have some law where you get 10 moving violations, your next suspension is free?

Many moons ago, I was one of those nasty people who took the drivers' license pictures in PA. I had one guy (no poor Negro, either) who told me he needed everything ASAP because he was driving without insurance, registration, or tags. The cops were coming in the front door as he was going out the back.

There's always an excuse.

Chris Rock pretty much covered it, but even if your woman isn't mad, she might be, drunk, uppity, entitled, horny, have PMS, PPD, PTSD, be a feminazi, environmentalist, vegan, be bloated, hungry, need a smoke,.....

Oh hell, just go gay, and be a hero who's loved for his courage. You might even be named woman of the year! Besides, I hear it only hurts the first time.

Well shit, I might as well renounce my citizenship, deport myself then illegally cross over into the US and claim illegal status and go about my business as a protected class. Then demand ad nauseum that Americans should take care of me and it racist if they don't. See how I win?

Rock grew up in a 2 parent, blue collar, hard working, family. His parents were demanding on them being good citizens.

Ignore the cow - he/she wants to break the law with impunity just like his heroine Hillary. They are two peas in a pod. Neither of them are bright enough to consider what might happen if one obeyed the law.
