Their current headline is: "Orlando is An Extension of the Marriage, Bathroom Wars". In the article that follows, appears this copy:
There will be many right-wing Christians who will jump to the front and say, “The shooter was Muslim!”
The man who pulled the trigger might have identified as Muslim, and a perversion of Islam even so, but Christian rhetoric really killed 50 people on Sunday — the fruit of the last two years of conservative vitriol lays on an Orlando dance floor this morning, covered in innocent blood. [emphasis added]In the minds of progressives, the shooting, done by an Afghan man who was taught by a homosexual-hating Imam, who went to the middle east twice for training, who was on the FBI watch list, who was known as homophobic by at least one co-worker, and who transported illegal aliens into the US, the one that witnesses saw do the shooting, the guy the police killed - that guy - had nothing to do with the shootings. It was those Christians, you and me probably, who are at fault.
And remember, Hillary Clinton, the beneficiary of millions of dollars of money donated by Arab kings and princes and dictators believes the phrase Allahu Akbar is Klingon for The NRA Made Me Do This.

It's so bizarre and dangerous because it takes away from the impetus necessary to put a stop to it. It's truly an obstruction of justice.
My brief conversation with Steve Sailer on the subject of the shootings:
ST: "We must be much much nicer to Muslims, and attempt to convince as many as possible to immigrate to the U.S. so that their feelings will not be hurt and they will like us."
SS: "Or otherwise they’ll kill us, which would be Trump’s fault."
There are many many levels on which this is all our fault. Our homophobia is just one in an endless list.
It also negates the light speed chances in law and attitude towards them that have taken place in a supposed Christian nation.
I mean, we have a gay pastor having to fake hatred on a cake to acuse a business of hatred where it did not exist.
Gays are busy acting out the behavior that led to the closet in the past.
It wasn't an accident that they were there.
I don't think they'll be happy until they find their way back.
Put it another way.
Imagine going back in time when the AIDS epidemic hit and the gay community resolved to refuse the aid of medicine and new drugs out of fear Christian doctors.
To my mind, it's that bizarre.
I believe that Advocate quote is what is called a stretch.
How many incidents "right-wing Christians" attacking homosexuals with automatic weapons have there been? How many incidents "right-wing Christians" throwing homosexuals off rooftops have there been?
And you can bet that club was a gun-free zone.
I think you are right ST.
When you have eliminated the impossible, whatever remains, however improbable, must be the truth.
They want to be hated... "Make the gays closeted again".
I believe that Advocate quote is what is called a stretch.
Read the article. The blame for the shooting is laid at the feet of "conservative Christians" for their lack of support for gay marriage and unfettered use of any bathroom by any person.
Never mind that gays and lesbians can now get married in every state in the union, and all bathrooms have pretty much become one-size-fits-all, the perpetual sense of victimhood has to be continued, and Christians are the targets.
If somebody keeps breaking into your house you don't say before I try to stop the break-ins let's look at my neighbors responsibility for his bad behavior in the past towards me.
Sure the guy breaking in is bad, but that neighbor of mine, I'm sure somehow he's got his fingerprints all over this. It's his fault that I'm getting broken into.
ISIS's provocation to kill can be triggered by gays doing gay things, or people having an office party, or people watching and participating in a sporting event, or ordering an alcoholic beverage during Ramadan (in Europe), or listening to a band at a nightclub in Paris, or making jokes about Islam, etc., etc.
They describe people so easily triggered psychotic.
Getting fucked in the ass doesn't make you smarter.
This is the left's holy meme.
whenever radical Islam slaughters - it's really the Christians. or the Jews!
Leftists ARE nazi brownshirts. Reality? fuck it. Blame the Christians and the Jews.

The "we need to look at ourselves" comments today are insufferable. Did you go and kill 50 people in a nightclub? No? Then you're cool.

Sorry I haven't posted anything yet this morning. I'm waiting for Lens Crafters to call me with my new glasses are ready news.
If I try to look at the screen i have to shove my face almost right up against the screen.
I dont want to scare my sisters kids.
While maddening and dangerous, this mindset is insular. It is a distinct minority. It should be hit w/ a spotlight so all normal thinking people get out to vote for the person who will identify and fight the true enemy. ISIS is disturbingly akin to the Nazi's in the 30's. We currently have a Neville Chamberlain in office. We need a Churchill. Trump is no fucking Churchill. But, he's much closer than Hillary.
For those of you who dont know what I'm talking about...

Well put spinelli
The left will continue to deny, deflect and be delusional until we are ALL killed by Islam.
Deny: that Islam is the root of the problem. Sure the radical elements are the visible ones who are committing the murders, rampages and destruction. BUT....Islam itself, the core teachings and beliefs are the problem.
Deflect: throw the blame anywhere but where it really belongs. Christians, evil bakers who won't make cakes. Republicans. Haters. Islamophobes. GUNS!!!!! eeeeevil guns that's the ticket. It can't be Islam. It must be the guns.
Delusional: If we all just understand each other there will be peace. Hold hands and sing Kumbaya. Oooooom. Deny Deflect Delusion.
Trump has been, sadly, proven right again. We have no room, no time for political correctness. ISLAM and people from ISLAM countries must be screened, vetted and immigration limited from those areas. Deportation IS an option. Protecting our borders is a MUST. It won't solve the problem of radicalization, but God damn it. It is a start.
Political correctness is going to kill us all.
@ Lem - Insta is unsteady. totally revs up my computer and then I get a pop-up about a script.
oopsy, you nailed it, the PC crowd won't be happy until some of the crazies nukes San Fiasco, but there's also this issue.
We now know the crazy's dad had the same beliefs, so why wasn't the family deported after the kid was dancing in the street after the 9/11 attacks?
Anchor baby.
We are only 1 of 3 countries in the world stupid enough to retain this policy. The shooter was born in this country, but Mom and Dad sure weren't.
PS Anybody know if somebody like Sonny boy can be stripped of his citizenship?

No, Christians are the intended scapegoats, but, as I asked earlier, when was the last time homosexuals have been attacked by "right-wing Christians" with automatic weapons?
The Advocate is Lefty Establishment, so they can't blame the Moselms because Black Narcissus has vowed to stand with the Moslems.
Behind his Secret Service protection, of course, since everybody figures he's 16 kinds of homosexual himself.

They have a lot of pop-ups and ads there and use a lot of Javascript and Windows Scripts. Every one in a while, somebody's latest ad has some bad code in it.
Fire off an email, let them know something's blowing up.
You want to know what I'm thinking. After reading a little bit about this guy, it dawns on me focusing on the wrong cause of a problem might be slowly making us, what is it called... when you can't feel pain? (pause to look something up) "Congenital insensitivity to pain (CIP), also known as congenital analgesia, is one or more rare conditions in which a person cannot feel (and has never felt) physical pain. The conditions described here are separate from the HSAN group of disorders, which have more specific signs and etiology.
Things that could really hurt us may go on not being addressed because the moisturizer pump failed at the library bathroom... or something.
I hate to sound conspiratorial but it makes you wander when trade deals are kept secret and it takes something like 200 days to get a FOIA request answered.
What are they doing to us while they distract us in the bathroom. I mean it's clear ISIS is the true enemy, not Eurasia. Is it a stretch for me to believe the obfuscation (blaming Christians for the faults of Islam) has sinister motives.

You take away a persons right to self defense, you take all he/she is ever going to have.
“The best way to take control over a people and control them utterly is to take a little of their freedom at a time, to erode rights by a thousand tiny and almost imperceptible reductions. In this way, the people will not see those rights and freedoms being removed until past the point at which these changes cannot be reversed.”

Reichstag ring any bells?
I am inclined to give them a pass today. The homo community must be overwhelmed with sorrow, grief and guilt today. Survivor's guilt can lead you to lash out in stupid ways. They need time to vent and act out like the foolish children they are.
I wouldn't worry about it today.
This was and continues to be a horrible, awful tragedy. That must never be overlooked. Innocent lives were taken, families ruined. The grief must indescribable. We grieve with them.
The point of my posting this topic was not to in any way diminish the horror, but to call out those who misplace blame for the killings onto the shoulders of people who had utterly nothing to do with them.
That "blaming others" effect seems to be a common thing with proggs. Their real enemy is muslim jihadis, and not anyone else. Sadly, that isn't where blame isn't being placed, either by Obama, Clinton, or various activists organizations.
I'm not wanting to be cute, but 'Arm The Gays" is a fine idea.
Nobody thought Churchill would amount to much until he did.
Haz - It's an excellent post. A reminder the left refuse to face an enemy they crawled in bed with.
So - they blame Christians and Jews. They blame Leviticus or some obscure preacher who had nothing to do with it.

I have to disagree.
When do the scales fall from their eyes, how many dead does it take?
The rank-and-file Lefties like to think of us as rubes, but they're the rubes. They get fed the same formula nonsense on every problem and swallow it whole, uncritically (we just went through a bruising Republican primary campaign where, say what you will, we all did a lot of critical thinking - some opinions to the contrary notwithstanding).
nd may throw a fit, but ask yourself, if all firearms were banned today, what's to stop the guy who sells you a joint, whom the Demos don't want hassled BTW, from selling some Moslem crazy an M-4 with a few 20 round mags?
One guy with a .45 firing ACP rounds could have stopped that nut.
And, of course, the nightclub was a gun-free zone. How many people have been murdered in gun-free zones?
Pick a Lefty canard and go over how many times it has been found wanting.
The Left wants homosexuals to keep on being victims. They want them to think they've won something by being able to marry (which Dan Savage tells us they really don't care about, anyway) and to use whatever bathroom they want, but, God forbid, we blame this thing on the Moslem fanatics because our First Lesbian "President" supports them.
No, we'll blame it on those evil "right-wing Christians" who have yet to shoot anybody.
I take my hat off to people like VtheK and Milo Yiannopoulos (sp?) simply because they use their heads and refuse to be victims. Hopefully, their ranks will swell.
Oh I wasn't criticizing you Haz. It is a great post and an interesting topic.
It is just that gays are stupid and ridiculous on a regular day and are best ignored if you can. It is understandable that they will act out today and blame everyone except the perps because they worship political correctness almost as much as they worship cock.
Shouting Thomas is right to say that this would never have happened if they had stayed in the closet but they have always been their own worst enemy and their behavior has always contained the seeds of their own destruction.
They have just run into a separate even stronger strain of destructive behavior.
Islam is incompatible with western civilization.
Our politicians want to import millions of them.
But if we even suggest that is a bad idea, we are "phobic".
No, a phobia is an irrational fear - fear of islam and those who mash their foreheads on rugs five times a day is not irrational, in fact, it is the most rational thing anyone with an ounce of self-preservation left in them can do.
What I find truly funny is that the mistress of TOP voted for this shit and her sons and husband are now at risk. That actually makes me laugh. You asked for it, you got it, idiots.
Listen to what President Obama had to say today.
Then we should try our damnest to do the exact opposite.
Trooper York said...
Of course you disagree ed. You have to give people a chance to be human. To make mistake. To grieve. We can take it if they lash out. If they can't see who the real enemy is it is on them. They will be worthless in the fight anyway.
Gays are fundamentally flawed and extremely self destructive. They are grieving and as Christians we should show some compassion to them and their grief.
On that, we agree. They are like diabetics, incredibly self-indulgent, even when the evidence is plain what they do will kill them.
Idiot that I am however, I do think that, at some point, they have to wise up if enough contrary data is forced upon them. Maybe you're right, maybe all that jerking off rots their brains.
And, of course, yes, the opposite of what Pissy says is always the right course.
Where have all the #NeverTrumpers gone? They seem strangely quiet.
Just to show their is an exception to every rule, the Phoenix chapter of the LGBT Foundation has endorsed Donald Trump.
Sorry, but I don't buy into the 'fundamentally flawed' argument. People are the way they were created,
Beliefs and politics are acquired, and should be challenged when harmful and wrong, no doubt. That's an appropriate thing.
But at some level, calling people who are not like you fundamentally flawed is a risky business unless you were born without flaw.
They will never wise up ed. They are a lost cause. As I said they will be worthless in this fight. There were 300 of them in that club. One gunman.
There are many brave and tough homosexuals. One of the guys who attacked the hijackers on 911 in Pennsylvania was gay. There are many brave gay soldiers. It seems amazing that there were none in that club that night. Or they tried and were killed which we will find out about eventually. The fight instinct is being bred out of young Americans. They were probably looking for a teacher to say the guy with the gun was a bully so they could get a ribbon for snitching. I think it is function of their youth more than anything.
Don't look to the gays as allies in the fight against Muslim extremism and the rise of murderous fanatical Islam. They are now and always will be worthless.
Let's just leave them to their grief and their perversions.
I don't agree Michael. I fully and complete admit that I am fundamentally flawed. I was born in original sin as are we all. Look I want to bang every hot chick I see. But I don't act on it. I want to commit violence all the time in situations that make me crazy. But I don't.
We all have fundamental flawed. The gay community just wants to make their flaws be celebrated and that everyone buy into it 24/7. It is what you do about it that counts.
The fact that you can't say that their destructive and frankly sinful behavior is fundamentally flawed in this age of political correctness is why we are where we are now.
Troop, I don't remember ever being in a gay dance club at 2:00 AM on Latino Saturday Night but I'm pretty sure that if I ever was I wasn't in any condition to mount a counter-assault on a well-armed and determined shooter. I doubt that many if any of the patrons who hung around for last call were either.
It's almost like Omar planned out the whole thing.
Trooper, you're moving the ball. You originally said that gays are fundamentally flawed, a position I do not hold, as I believe people were created to be what they are.
Then you said that their behavior is fundamentally flawed. Are you changing your mind on the first statement?
Not to pick nits.
If you're talking "gay gene", there doesn't seem to be one.
Barring hormonal imbalance in a very few, it seems Freud was right and it's all in the mind.
What the Catechism of the Catholic Church requires:
2358 The number of men and women who have deep-seated homosexual tendencies is not negligible. This inclination, which is objectively disordered, constitutes for most of them a trial. They must be accepted with respect, compassion, and sensitivity. Every sign of unjust discrimination in their regard should be avoided. These persons are called to fulfill God’s will in their lives and, if they are Christians, to unite to the sacrifice of the Lord’s Cross the difficulties they may encounter from their condition.
I don't think I am. Or at least I am not stating it clearly.
I think we are all fundamentally flawed in one manner or another. Otherwise we would be perfect. We are all born in original sin. Does that make sense?
Now you don't know what that fundamental flaw might be. It might be homosexuality. Alcoholism. Priapicism. Greed. That flaw manifests itself in our lives in one way or another. You either get a hold of it with the help of faith and family or you don't and it leads to your destruction.
Nobody has a problem with someone who gets a handle on their flaw. I would no more condemn a gay who stops that behavior than I would a drunk who doesn't drink.
The fact you are your behavior. You can not divorce one from the other. The way you act determines who and what you are.
Thanks for posting MH.
Let's not chase people away Trooper.
"Every sign of unjust discrimination in their regard should be avoided"
This is where my fatal flaw rears it's ugly head. I don't think that certain forms of discrimination is "unjust." I would not put gays in charge of a boy scout troop or let them be priests. I wouldn't put an alcoholic in charge of wine cellar. I wouldn't let a horny cockmaster be in charge of the girls softball team.
You need to discriminate. You need to choose. Catholic doctrine can be stretched in such a way to be politically correct and ultra-liberal. It wasn't always that way. But Pope John came in and now pretty much anything goes. "Who am I to judge."
Maybe that is my fatal flaw. I am an old school Catholic bigot from the 1950's. If I die and am judged by Jesus and he is a groovy haired hippie singing Kumbaya then I am in a lot of trouble.
I don't think I am chasing anyone away Lem. We are just having a discussion here.
I think.
Have to ask, how old is that passage from the Catechism?
This is very good, Michael Haz.
Everyone has an angle.
It seems that Michael and Trooper are saying somewhat the same thing about homosexuals. The Catechism calls it a condition. Trooper calls it a flaw, which may be a bit harsh.
These persons are called to fulfill God’s will in their lives and, if they are Christians, to unite to the sacrifice of the Lord’s Cross the difficulties they may encounter from their condition.
I don't think that Trooper is saying that they should be turned away from the Church or by God. It is by a person's behavior that they are judged, by us puny humans, not by God who has his own judgements.
I do believe that we are all born flawed or with obstacles to overcome in our life in some way. How we deal with or overcome those flaws is what counts. Mental, physical, moral all things which can be less than perfect and which we need to work on in this lifetime that we are allotted.
This should not be an argument that divides us but rather one that makes us think, reflect and perhaps come to some middle ground.
OR in other words....play nice you guys :-)
I want to see gays join the NRA and arm themselves.
I think you basically hit it right DBQ. I call it a flaw because that is my flaw. I see things as right or wrong, black or white. It generally takes me about two seconds to decide what is right and I generally stick to it and don't change my mind.
Here is your key sentence: "I don't think that Trooper is saying that they should be turned away from the Church or by God. It is by a person's behavior that they are judged."
That is exactly the point. I don't think we should indulge an alcholic. We don't let him come into the church waving a bottle and slugging it down during Mass. He has to change his behavior don't you think? It is the same for homosexuals. We need to judge them by their behavior. Not make excuses. Not say it is ok. They should never be turned away if they turn away from their behavior. Does that make sense?
As far as God goes I don't presume to know what is in his mind. I don't see how anyone can. He might find me repugnant and a horrible sinner worthy of the fires of Hell. That is certainly possible.
I guess I will just stick with the accumulated wisdom of the last 2,000 years instead of what has become fashionable in the last fifty years. I could be dead wrong. Somehow I don't think so but anything is possible.
I mean look they made a Muslim moolie president. Who the fuck knows?
So a muzzie kills over 50 homosexuals and the discussion here devolves into a discussion of catechism. I can't wait until Iran nukes a US city - I'll bet I'll learn more about the Second Vatican Council than I ever knew before.
SQUIRREL!!!
What do you mean by "We know"? Clearly, many here do not know. They are in mourning. They lost a hero. They tacitly support Mateen and his actions and can't wait until Hillary can finish the job of destroying this nation. By their silence shall we know them.
I want to see gays join the NRA and arm themselves.
That would make them vulnerable to less dependence on someone else for their safety.
Unable to defend themselves is just how their betters want it.
edutcher - I don't know how old that section is. I'd guess many decades because this has been the position for as long as I remember, so at least 50 years.
Chip, thank you.
When I speak about we know I mean you and me and Michael Haz and Lem and DBQ and ed. We know what the deal is and what the problem is. You mention the morons at TOP. Well if this doesn't wake them up nothing will. The Muslims came in and slaughtered their sons and daughters in the midst of their perversions. To Obama that is just something we have to adsorb and the price we have to pay to be politically correct and not call Muslim terror what it is. They will never learn.
As far as foolish people like April and Bags they have a stark choice. They can continue to nitpick and flirt with doing things destructive to Trump's candidacy. Or not. But they should realize that he is the only thing standing between us and the total triumph of political correctness. The political correctness that stopped this guy from being fired by his Muslim supervisor because of his threats and crazy behavior. If Hillary or the Democrats win it will just be more of the same. The choice is simple. There can be no excuse. There will continue to be incidents like this right up to the election. But for any sane normal person this should be enough.
The Second Vatican Council ended on December 8, 1965. That was fifty one years ago.
I know Sixty is very interested in that. Just sayn'
I know - and I am interested in it. I have heard much of it my entire life. Pope John XXIII was involved, as I recall. As I have written here before, my dear sweet ex-wife attended parochial school for 12 years. And that was just 3rd grade. But I digress...
So before you die of radiation sickness, be sure to write more about it - I am all ears.
Hey I hope to move out of New York before that happens. But I don't know.

If it's from Vatican II, it's barely got dust on it.
And Vatican II is where a lot of us, to one degree or another, parted company with the modern Church.
After that, you had revolution theology and guitar masses and nuns looking like everybody else and a whole lot of bad ideas.
My fondest wish is to move to Florida and to become a cracker.

Not me. I have no investment in that place. I don't read it, don't have it bookmarked, and don't care one iota about it.

I like April and I like Bags. I consider neither foolish, in fact, both seem quite bright. We my agree most of the time, and disagree some of the time, and that's fine. It's irrational for me (or anyone) to believe that I merit one hundred percent agreement one hundred percent of the time. I ain't that smart, and I enjoy good conversations.

The original crackers were cowboys.
People with any self-respect at all avoid interacting with cows.
Not at all - it really isn't a bother - I like learning about such things. And I agree with the idea that we are imbued with dignity and goodness, no matter how much some of us try to deny that or subvert it. All I am saying is that muzzies ain't gettin' that message.

I interact very well with a nice juicy ribeye steak ;-)
That is the only civilized approach to beef.
I think we agree almost the time Haz. But you see the facts have not changed fundamentally this weekend. They have only come in stark relief to the situation at hand.
The fundamental problem was that Obama, Hillary, Paul Ryan, Mitt Romney, David French, Bill Kristol and Megyn Kelly and all the rest live in a world of political correctness that will allow our destruction. They support unfettered immigration. They support the emasculation of the police and the release of criminals into society both foreign and domestic.
In my view this was easy to spot. Trump is the only one who addressed it forcefully and from an American perspective. Nonsense like Trump University and calling a Mexican Judge out is just silly. Foolish in my view.
Look at Obama. He is not an American first. He is a black man. A socialist. A liberal. A Democrat. A Muslim or at least a Muslim apologist if he has to hide his true nature. He is about fifty things before he is an American. Trump is the only one who will call him out as he has today. Get ready for the push back. The backlash. The legions of the politically correct saying he can't say that. He can't say we have to stop immigration from failed terrorists states until we get a handle on it. Now is the time to step up and stop the foolish nonsense.
We don't have to agree on everything. But we have to agree on the one big thing. Because if we can't this terrorist attack will just be the pimple on the ass of things to come.
That is almost all the time. Enjoy your ride today. I look forward to your next post so we can continue the discussion.
"Romney, French, Kristol, Kelly." WTF?? There are drugs for OCD. I'm quite certain someones permanent record has "Easily distracted" on it. "Runs w/ scissors" may be on it as well.
Bags and April are an important part of this blog.
This is all deflection. All of it. There is a concerted effort on the left to utterly disillusion you with their conspiratorial and deluded ideas. This is why they go directly to the emotionality of their ideology to get you to play their game or at least the low hanging fruit voters. I know many of you are utterly immune to their ideological stupidity, but many are not. Once they employ these tactics then it's open season on the mind of the society. Obama, Hillary, Sanders, any number of homosexual and deviant groups, et al. can call the sky and the ocean pink, because since society doesn't want to appear bigoted or hateful, they will nod obsequiously and accept the dogma.
So when a toilet paper shit rag like the Advocate blames hateful white Christians for killing 50 people in a gay nightclub in Orlando, they know what they are doing? They are literally stepping their own dead to forward their agenda of furthering homosexual rights even more and making the case for it. They don't care that 50 homosexuals and another several dozen more injured died. They only care that their agenda gets pushed forward on the blood of their martyrdom. In effect, these people are no different than ISIS or any other terrorist organization that celebrates the martyrdom of their dead for their cause. Proof that their deviancy literally knows no bounds in its drive ever forward into sheer and utter lunacy.
Not me. I have no investment in that place. I don't read it, don't have it bookmarked, and don't care one iota about it.
Probably good for you. She hasn't let up on Catholic-baiting.
Bags and April are an important part of this blog.
They were both good audiences for some of the music links I posted, so I have selfish reasons for valuing them.
Valuing people for selfish reasons is just being human. I see it as a spectrum. Virtually all people value people who we like and like us. The next part of the spectrum are people who only like people who like them. That is a big part of the spectrum. Then there are people who can like people who don't reciprocate. A much smaller degree of the spectrum. Finally, there are people who can find something to like in all people. They include Elwood P. Dowd and Jesus. Knowing where one fits on the spectrum is important. Many are clueless.
