I should wash your mouth out with soap.

Where do you get such language?

From Lord Ashcroft.

Metro UK thinks this is cryptic: In history we had empires so emperors ruled. Then we had kingdoms so kings ruled. Now we are just a country…

Former Deputy Chairman of the Conservative Party.

That's a Shakesperian pun.

Robert Frost used it too.

To properly understand it, though, in today's British lexicon "cunt" is widely used as a term of abuse for males.

It seems to be something like "no more trustworthy than a woman." Woman seems to be taken narrowly as well, a certain kind of woman, with the equation for the moment that all women are this woman.

We'll have to await the OED's ruling, or some future Wm. Empson's.

Imagine if Trump had said that.

Trump did accidentally say Obama's reign, or some such.

A new documentary on Madonna promises to show her in less than admirable light.

(1) Fess
(2) Kay
(3) Dorothy
(3) Sarah Jessica
