A church actually posted this cartoon as part of their celebration of Easter. Nice right?
Ann Coulter nails this phenomenon in a tasty little post on Briebart. In it she lays out all of the many troubling similarities between the Donald and the Fueher. For example:
— Adolf Hitler held gigantic rallies, where he inspired millions with rousing speeches. Donald Trump holds gigantic rallies, where he inspires millions with rousing speeches.
— Adolf Hitler talked about making his country great again. Donald Trump talks about making his country great again.
— Adolf Hitler promised military victories. Donald Trump promises military victories.
— Adolf Hitler had a loyal and overweight henchman, Hermann Goering. Donald Trump has a loyal and overweight henchman, Chris Christie.
And she goes on and on in her inimitable restrained style. I like how she understates the case. It is exactly the way I like to argue.
It is amazing how terrible the Donald is and the extremes that people will go to attack him. These pussies get so upset that their tampons fall out before they can get home and they have to put it on the internet to show how upset they are about the end of America as we know it.

It's gotten very weird out there, but everybody who likes the status quo, the Left in particular, sees him as someone who can rally the people.
He's been doing a good job so far.
Anybody who can get Louis Farrakhan to like him can't be all bad.
PS I'm guessing that's her column for tomorrow. She's been wrong a lot, but she's on the money here.
Weird? You guys are falling for a sure fire loser. Whatevs....
(add that one to the Trump list: Sure. Fire. Loser.)
I don't know April. Hillary can't even put away a senile communist.
Once the Donald gets his small hands around her throat he is gonna choke her out.
What is she going to do?
Call him a sexist? (Whose that guy with his dick out, it's your husband Bill)
He is a business fraud? (What? Commodity futures? Clinton Foundation? What?)
He is a lying Liar? (What? I can't hear you over the sniper fire?)
Anything she will try to hit him with is an area where she is just as vulnerable. Plus she is low energy and lets every man in America's teeth on edge. There might be a gender gap in her favor with women. But it will be at worst 60/40. Her gender gap with men will be around
90/10.
I like what Carly had to say about both Hillary and Trump.
Hillary has made millions selling influence in Washington, DC, and Trump has made billions buying politicians like Hillary.
It's been said over and over by we, the elite sell-out establishment toadys
(me and Bags) (whatever that means) ...
that the media and hollywood pop-culture are going to have a field day beating up on Trump and making Hillary seem like the normal one in comparison. Don't blame us for pointing it out.
... then Trump will whine about it, which makes him look puny.
Trooper, I wasn't trying to look or anything, but I can't help but notice that your panties are all in bunch lately.
I heard that zombie Bin Laden has endorsed Trump, but of course that's a good thing too because I must explain to you how all this mistaken idea of denouncing pleasure and praising pain was born and I will give you a complete account of the system, and expound the actual teachings of the great explorer of the truth, the master-builder of human happiness. No one rejects, dislikes, or avoids pleasure itself, because it is pleasure, but because those who do not know how to pursue pleasure rationally encounter consequences that are extremely painful. Nor again is there anyone who loves or pursues or desires to obtain pain of itself, because it is pain, but because occasionally circumstances occur in which toil and pain can procure him some great pleasure. To take a trivial example, which of us ever undertakes laborious physical exercise, except to obtain some advantage from it? But who has any right to find fault with a man who chooses to enjoy a pleasure that has no annoying consequences, or one who avoids a pain that produces no resultant pleasure?
Trump could have been even more perfect than Hitler if he'd marketed Trump Riesling but he went the Stalin route with Trump Vodka. On the other hand he could recoup the Hitler trophy with a quick lebensraum incursion into Sonora soon after his election followed by an even quicker buildout of the Wall to incorporate that alleged Mexican territory into America The Yuuge aka Eat My Shorts.
This stuff about Trump under attack by the PC squad about Hitler and being an asshole on the surface is bullshit cover to avoid talking about what the real problem is: He's not competent at anything other than selling a pig in a poke, and his political instincts are overwhelmingly liberal. When they are not, it's extremely recent, incoherent, and inconsistent. In other words, he doesn't know what he's doing, except how to sell you that pig of a brand of his. It's a failed man riding on the backs of easy marks falling for his bullshit. His main claim to fame is being a great businessman, but by virtually every measure he sucks at it. He was simply born rich and privileged - that's it. That's the whole man and he's wrapped in an obnoxious package, like a shipping container filled with Chinese pacemakers hidden under a thin layer of clown shoes, American flags, and Kardashian handbags.
We've gotta get the economy rolling again. Trump's gonna beat the Chinks the Japs and the Greasers upside the head in trade wars, er....deals. It's a start. I like it.

Riiight.
That's not just a river in Egypt, is it?
First, his negatives are so high and then it's all a cover. Keep telling yourself that.
As far as his instincts, you selectively read what you want of the guy, just as you ignore anything bad about the other.
It's all a slow boat to Alexandria.
So we are easy marks buying the bullshit that a flim flam man is selling. So instead we should buy what the Republicans have been selling the past few years where we gave them the Congress and they gave us....what exactly?
My panties are not in a bunch bags. I enjoy arguing with you and April. I think you are the ones being flim flamed but the proof is in the pudding so to speak.
And let me tell you...if there is one thing that Donald knows.....it is pudding.
Any and all Republicans will be compared to Hitler or whatever other galactic badness the left can think of. (Funny how their go-to baddies are always lefties (Hitler, KKK, etc.) or fictional characters like Darth Vader. If there weren't hundreds of thousands of progressive moron zombies who actually believed this stuff and took it to heart it would be hysterical, especially during this election cycle where the Dems are running a fat evil cartoon robot in a Mao jacket and Stalin.
BUT I DIGRESS.
This [Republican]=KKKHitler shit is par for the course and predictable as the sun rising in the east. I remember in 2012 some idiot calling Republicans "child molestors" for voting for Romney. Milquetoast middle of the road establishment Romney. Complaining about it helps no one, least of all your candidate, and only serves to repeat the claim and lend it legitimacy or at least page views. It WOULD be helpful if the candidate didn't pause overnight to ponder whether disavowing white supremacy was a good idea but, whatever, this stuff happens.
" Trump's gonna beat the Chinks the Japs and the Greasers upside the head in trade wars"
He has all his brand's clothes and all those of his daughter's clothing lines made in China, and Vietnam. The nobility of the man is phenomenal. He must really love us a lot to put his daughter and himself out of business for us. A true patriot through and through.
If he could import buildings he'd surely have them made there too.
Argument is not incivility.
Trump killed Jesus. Wait a minute I thought Bernie was the one who was Jewish.
Wait a minute I thought Jesus was Jewish. Or do you have a preference for downplaying that association while highlighting the other one, while totally leaving the same Romans who inspired Mussolini out of it?
Bernie is the most moral candidate running. Call his positions un-Christian if you want, but I never realized that advocating for the powerful was a spiritually enlightening priority. On the other hand, Trump says he was targeted by the IRS for being Christian. The phoniness of this proclamation by Mr. Two Corinthians notwithstanding, can someone please explain to me what the hell that's even supposed to mean, or at least what it's code for?
Finally, supply-side economics is finally out. We've tried it for eight years following the worst recession since the 1929 crash, and still we're in deep shit. Trump's not running on it. Bernie's not running on it. The people have decisively had enough of establishment economics. Of all the front-runners, only Hillary Clinton seems to be running on it. It's time to move on and figure out what each of these non-Cato candidates is all about, and which one we're going to want. The selfish one, the generous one or the sneaky one.
This stuff about Trump under attack by the PC squad about Hitler and being an asshole on the surface is bullshit cover to avoid talking about what the real problem is: He's not competent at anything other than selling a pig in a poke,
I dunno. He seems to sell hate pretty well.
He was simply born rich and privileged - that's it.
Since when did Republicans stop thinking this was a virtue?
This is nothing compared to the tsunami of tshit that's coming our way in the general election. See, e.g., the incoherent magical unicorn economics/morality mash-up above @ 7:21pm.
Nor again is there anyone who loves or pursues or desires to obtain pain of itself...
Really?
I thought living in California makes it easy to be exposed to "alternative lifestyles."
Speaking of avoiding pain, did you ever eat a chili pepper?
I'm sure that to a man with a broken mind, (like K-Martel), everything sounds incoherent.
Even Trump is done with stupidity leading America. Apparently his supporters are on board with that.
Gone are the days when you could get away with fooling the voters into mimicking the political habits of men as foolish as you are.
"Bernie is the most moral candidate running. "
He tries, but he's no Mao Tse-tung, although they do put their faith in the same god.
Nah, just you. Everyone else in here consistently makes coherent points, usually without nonironically stupid cheap shots.
Do appreciate your trepanning of the Meadiness the other day. Doesn't seem to have had much effect, unfortunately.
I wish you were smart enough for it to occur to you that it's your precious establishment candidates who want America to be like communist China. Bernie just rallies the public over the fact that the needs of 90% of America are sacrificed so that pols can win influence with billionaires who don't need anywhere near as much attention from the government - despite attracting the lion's share of it. What's so hard to get about that?
The party you pretend to be trying to save is killing itself over its obstinate refusal to understand this very simple fact. It will be interesting to watch what you do in four years after the current maelstrom changes this game once and for all. You'll probably grow old as a beachcomber, reminiscing about the good old days when America fucked the poor and sucked the rich. And passersby will think you're drunk, if you aren't already.
"As far as his instincts, you selectively read what you want of the guy, just as you ignore anything bad about the other."
You tell me what his positives are.
As for Cruz, I don't have to explain away everything he does, I'm not head over heals, but I suppose you have stuff about him doing something underhanded or unfair and think I should explain it away like you would if Trump did the same thing. You would say it was what he had to do to win, it was smart and tough of him, and his competitors don't deserve to be treated fairly. That kind of stuff, right? OK, pretend I said that about whatever you have on Cruz. I'm not supporting him because he's fair or chivalrous. Surely, a Trump supporter can understand that.
Her gender gap with men will be around 90/10.
As it is now she only gets straight beta males and gay bottoms.
Well, I do what I can with Meade and when he's a douche I try to point out how empty a douche he is. There's grouchiness and then there's an angry slave. Grouchiness is more credible or effective when it's not in someone else's service.
As for my "cheap shots", I guess I didn't realize they had to be always deep and studious. Like I told some Althousians last night, I call 'em like I see 'em. Does it occur to you that some kind of bias prevents you from seeing that candidates have been running on all the wrong things for at least a few decades? And why that game is over and how? I realize you play the political game with the cards that are dealt, but if the game is changing - as it seems it surely is, for how long will you call me a confused knave just for pointing out the change?
I'm not supporting him because he's fair or chivalrous.
Lol. Unfairness and miserliness are the only attributes you've been attracted to in candidates. Well, at least since 1980.
For how many decades will you attempt to avenge this mistake of yours at the voting booth? It's like the 36-year itch. Bags makes one mistake, and then sees every election through that lens. We are suffering the effects of your need to prove something to Young Bags. Over and over again. Every four years. Old Bags is at war with Young Bags and the carnage is to be inflicted on all bystanders.

He wins. He's changed the debate in this country on immigration. He's defused the whole War on women lie. He's bringing back the ragan Democrats whio can take us past the margin of fraud.
(I've mentioned this all before, but you choose to ignore it.)
As for Cruz, I don't have to explain away everything he does, I'm not head over heals
The Hell you aren't. You ignore everything about him that's negative, like the dirty tricks.
His first year in the Senate, he was Mr Go-Along-To-Get-Along and I put up a list of all the flips.
Crickets.
Then he developed Presidential aspirations and suddenly, he's the Only Conservative In The World. Not even close. He's a liar and a phony.
PS One of your biggest objections seems to be he was born rich.
Poll the country and I'm willing to bet those who weren't wish they were.
"So we are easy marks buying the bullshit that a flim flam man is selling. So instead we should buy what the Republicans have been selling the past few years where we gave them the Congress and they gave us....what exactly?"
First off, don't be bothered by being an easy mark for a Trump con job. You are part of a long tradition and your numbers are really growing. It's amazing, really wonderful, you're way up, just incredible numbers.
Second, nobody wants what the Republicans have been doing. Absolutely nobody. If you choose Kassich, or Rubio, you might be OK with it, but if you choose Cruz, they will hate you for letting the cops into their opium den. If you choose Trump you likely get Hillary who is Trump with a better business record. I mean seriously, with her growth in net worth since Little Rock, just imagine where she would be if she was born with Trump money. Hell, imagine where you would be.
Everyone who thinks I'm a fool, just listen to this:
The reason Bags has stopped responding to me is because he knows I'm right, and he sees a real threat to establishment, business-as-usual politics in Washington.
He's taking it out on me, or ignoring me, or whatever, as a proxy for his wish to take it out on the country. To take it out on the Trump-Sanders phenomenon that is done with a careerist political establishment that doesn't give a damn about them.
All I'm doing is articulating what's going on as articulately, fairly and open-mindedly as I can. Could I go just full bore against Trump? Sure, but I don't.
Could I go just full-bore against establishment Republicans (or Romney)? Sure, but I don't.
I realize there are legitimate concerns to all these factions.
But the real news this year is that it's establishment Democrats who are going to be taken under. For years, the establishment could depend on a supine Democratic party just as willing to go along with the influence peddling, big spending game.
But finally, they ran the one who exemplified it most cravenly: Hillary Clinton.
Now was the Republicans' chance to figure out what they're all about... just as the Democrats are in a pitched battle to do the same.
Either way, the establishment is out. Bags, an interesting and talented and clever businessman, realizes this. But he still can't accept it or figure out why... let alone a way around it.
So he bashes. And he bashes. He figures he can cut his losses with anti-establishment Democrats, but not with anti-establishment Republicans.
But he can't accept that this will probably just put establishment Republicans under.
He is making the best case he can. And doing a somewhat honorable, decent job of it.
But make no mistake. Wealth cannot buy wisdom. Just as the lobbyists could only get the establishment Republicans to keep the base at bay for so long, Bags will only be able to do the same with you all for so long. At the end of the day, the Republicans will either go down hard or at least tear their party apart for not seeing the bigger picture.
But Bags will have had the satisfaction of convincing you all that it's your fault.
I guess that's what friends are for, in his view.
In the interests of showing some people I can be honest, I put this up noting this is in no way, shape, or form my experience.
Pollster says Cruz supporters are lukewarm.
As I have been saying, believe it when you see it.
Bags wants all you anti-establishment Republicans to be the last men rescued from his sinking yacht.
But hey, at least he's willing to include you on ship manifest while the rescue mission begins.
The reason I'm not responding, Ritmo is that 1) you change sides so and often, I'm not sure who you are, and 2) you seem a little smitten, almost stalking. Just remember, "you're likable enough."
I can go with that.
OK, who thinks I'm all excited about Cruz, or any other politician, ever! All I can say about him is he's the most conservative running, he has stood up to the spineless in Congress, which is most important, and he polls better than Trump against Hillary or Bernie. That's it. It's pretty lukewarm for a love affair - not even a chub happening.
1. Your view of "sides" is doctrinaire and incapable of keeping up with all that's finally in flux this year. There are things with which I passionately agree with both April and Trooper on, especially this year, and even you - but without needing the sealing of any specific candidate to be the lens through which to view everything. I can see much more when a specific outcome is not my be-all, end-all. Hence, I can speak to much more.
2. Your position is the one that will go down hardest this year.
But you're doing the best job you can of defending it when possible.
That doesn't change the fact that your views are the most vulnerable this year.
I don't want to make you "poor." I'm just the canary in your collapsing gold mine.
My gold mine is doing great! That tends to happen when you put your faith in yourself and the people around you rather than Washington D.C. or some politician. Trump won't hurt me. In fact, his policies would just make my gold mine into platinum, but I don't need that. It's the rest of you who are gonna get slammed. Trump won't hurt me - he takes care of people like me. Always has.
All I have to worry about personally is a Sanders Presidency. He blames people like me for everything, and he's crazy (or stupid) enough to believe it. I think that's what you call "moral".
Argument is not incivility.
It is to Trump supporters.
A gold mine and a yacht. Donald Trump, is that you?
BTW, has anybody heard who is President right now? I can't remember and nobody ever mentions him anymore? Did he quit?
Has Bernie Sanders ever actually created any wealth? For himself or anyone else? Or has he just moved other peoples' money around?
He's partying at the SXSW festival with the rest of the shiftless stoners.
In other Trump news: Gary Busey signed on for "Sharknado 4"!
The only reason Bernie the socialist is "moral" is because when you stand next to Hillary, all pols become "moral" in comparison to her Felonistness.
Choom Gang reunion!

Says one whose arguments are limited to name-calling.
Stick to facts rather than epithets.
I saw a bumper sticker in town the other day parked in front of Vitamin Cottage (AKA Natural Grocers) (grocery store for earth-pigs, hippies and hippy-wanna-bees) It was on an old truck and it read in big bold letters: VOMIT. the O was the Obama trademark.
what!?
ed - Arguing that Trump is a sure fire loser is an argument worth making. Sorry you are so gravely offended.
My yacht is so big that it actually has its own gold mine, which has a lake inside with another yacht on it.
Argument is not incivility.
It is to Trump supporters.
I know. So thin-skinned yet oblivious. What do you say to people who start out with "you weaselite establishmentarian losers are backing an establishment loserweasel pussy who's losing in every state including in all parallel universes and wilts before the mighty blast of Sir Donald the Constantlyontv" and conclude with "how dare you insult me and my candidate, that's uncivil." Seriously?
Talking about Trump's record of supporting Democrats and agreeing with their D- politics and policies is not name calling.
So thin-skinned yet oblivious. Indeed.
Hey wait - Stop with the name calling Amartel. I'm telling mom!
Okay, we get it. It's a yoooge yacht.
"Bitch stole my look!"
Ha! Thanks. That made me laugh out loud for the first time today, I was way overdue.
"VOMIT. the O was the Obama trademark"
Uncivil. Hurtful. Cruel.
I submit it is not moral to steal more than 1/3 of someones paycheck.
"VOMIT. the O was the Obama trademark"
Uncivil. Hurtful. Cruel.

Funny hilarious haha and true.
Truth is often painful. See Bagoh's post above.
My gold mine is doing great! That tends to happen when you put your faith in yourself and the people around you rather than Washington D.C. or some politician.
And Bags wonders how Trump became the top Republican candidate this year.
How oblivious do you have to be to not see that your message is the same as his?
Back to the topic of this post:
If Trump was Pontius Pilate, the crucifixion would have cost $1000 per head to view, and when you got there, you'd just see a sign that said: "Trump Salvations - Out of Business - No Refunds."
R&B - who are you today? It does amaze us that you have moments of lucidity and then you offer nothing but ...delusion.
Has Bernie Sanders ever actually created any wealth? For himself or anyone else? Or has he just moved other peoples' money around?
Has wealth ever created morality? Or decency? Or resourceful priorities? Or patriotism?
The most important thing to know about wealth is it helps you tune out the shouts of the rioters at the bottom of your castle walls. But once they come tumbling down, it's harder to ignore.
Wealth creates a sound-proof room for protecting the fragile eardrums of people who can't stand to hear that they're no better than anyone else.
"How oblivious do you have to be to not see that your message is the same as his?"
His message is bullshit. He's uses the government like a mob guy - he pays them to hurt the rest of us for his own benefit. I give you example #1: Fingers the Pantsuit
' It does amaze us that you have moments of lucidity and then you offer nothing but ...delusion.
Drugs are like a box of chocolates.
It's not delusion to note that Bags' worshipping of his own wealth and Trump's worshipping of Trump's own wealth are both practices of the same religion.
Now if only Bags could self-finance his own, loudmouth, anti-establishment campaign. Then he could somehow be the Trump-caliber anti-Trump that he wishes all the other Trump targets could be.
His message is bullshit.
That's only half of it.
The half that gets him traction is the same as yours: I'm wealthy! Trust me!"
Trump actually worships his daddy's wealth plus an extremely poor return on it, which he only managed to do even that by looting investors, students, and customers along the way.
I never went bankrupt, I never borrowed a penny without repaying it in full with interest. I have never been sued for fraud, I never used the government to take someone's property, or to bail me out, or give access to Fingers the Pantsuit. I'm sure most everyone else here is the same, and we did it without a luxurious head start from dad.
Balls, it's refreshing to listen to someone who is proud of the work they do. Someone who helps others, creates jobs, and lives an honest tax paying life and plays by the rules. Our Bagoh.
Why are leftists so irritated by that? Why do you conflate hard working citizens and their right to peruse happiness without a government hand out, with say... Goldman Sachs?
Do you understand why we on the right think that everyone on the left is just a big government crony tool who loves the idea of wealth confiscation for.... waste and fraud and K Street?
peruse = pursue.
Ritmo, Just get to the bottom line: what number do you want me to use to sext you?

And what difference do you think that makes to any of his admirers... Or your admirers?
It makes no difference. You need to recognize that people who worship wealth don't worship the ingenuity that creates the value behind it. They worship the wealth and only the wealth.
It might sound harsh to hear. But I'm just telling you the truth. I don't judge you for it or kiss up to you for it. It makes you just as much the next guy as anything else... just more interesting. And I think there's ample evidence of all our interactions here of that. I don't put fear or favor into neutral things like the material - let alone who has more or less of it.
I'm still at work, it's 6:20pm here. I started at 6am. I don't get overtime, but I get to go on line, and my boss never bitches about it...much.
Oh shit, here he comes, the dick!

It takes more than you've got to offend me.
What you do is just boring.
And inaccurate.
Given how he's done so far, calling him a loser is a joke.
But the 4 of you prattle among yourselves, telling each other how wonderful you are. It's all just sour grapes, anyway.
PS Funny you mention Goldman Sachs...
See- there you have it folks. @Balls: It makes no difference. If you got you money from daddy - screw you. If you never got a dime from daddy and worked hard despite not having that advantage and made something of yourself so as not to be a burden on others.... why... screw you too!
Behold.
Back to the topic of this post:
If Trump was the Easter Bunny, he would hide gold-foil wrapped "chocolates" all over the yard for his followers to find and then he would charge them a "finder's fee" to defray his self-financed campaign costs. Then he would apply to the RNC for reimbursement.
It makes sense.
Too uncivil?
If Cruz was the Easter Bunny, he would be the Easter Ferret and talk about the constitution and the budget all day which nobody cares about the end.
So it's inaccurate to say that Donny is a democrat?
I mean - tell me where I'm wrong. show me the light!
Somebody has an overly complicated relationship with money.
Balls, it's refreshing to listen to someone who is proud of the work they do. Someone who helps others, creates jobs, and lives an honest tax paying life and plays by the rules. Our Bagoh.
Most people who have much less live by just as stringent a set of rules - if not moreso.
I'm not trying to bash Bagoh. Our Bagoh.
Can we have an honest debate? In the year of the anti-influence/anti-lobbyist election?
Do you think Bagoh set out to "create" the jobs that demand and income and existing capital are also needed to create?
I think he set out to put into motion some interesting inventions that he had. And then the business came secondary.
Then came success, and more hiring.
I don't doubt that he likes the hero status that we accord to that. But do you think that's what motivated him to the life he made?
Why are leftists so irritated by that? Why do you conflate hard working citizens and their right to peruse happiness without a government hand out, with say... Goldman Sachs?
I'm not irritated. And I don't equate him with Goldman Sachs.
But he wants to be as oblivious to what matters to the voters as Goldman Sachs is.
Do you understand why we on the right think that everyone on the left is just a big government crony tool who loves the idea of wealth confiscation for.... waste and fraud and K Street?
Not really. But I'm sure I'll figure it out eventually.
Running home now, but here is a success story that Trump wanted in on.
For it when it mattered - against it when it's too late
Balls - break free of that leftist mindset that tells you government knows best.
I know you want to.
See- there you have it folks. @Balls: It makes no difference. If you got you money from daddy - screw you. If you never got a dime from daddy and worked hard despite not having that advantage and made something of yourself so as not to be a burden on others.... why... screw you too!
Behold.
This is a lie. I said it makes no difference - to people who admire wealth for its own sake. Which is something I don't do. As many on the left also don't do.
Don't put words in my mouth. There's no need to do that.
Balls - break free of that leftist mindset that tells you government knows best.
I know you want to.
When did I ever say it did?
I just say that the lobbyists who control it don't know any better, either.
That's the only difference.
You keep making false accusations against Bagoh. Why don't you cut it out too.
I'm sorry if I did. What false accusation did I make?
"Don't put words in my mouth. There's no need to do that."
Puhleeze, your commments would be 99% shorter if you didn't attempt to characterize other peoples' motivations. Truly, the winner of the day (so far) is "The reason Bags has stopped responding to me is because he knows I'm right."
LOFL.
NPR admits O-care is a failure.
brrrrrrrrr. It's chilly.
All right Amartel. I'll try not to do that.
But I did want to provoke him into giving me an answer and that was my best guess.
I'd say Trump and Bagoh are opposites. Posts above, Balls, you said over and over how they are the same. Kinda..... wrong there, champ.
Were still waiting for the sexting exchange. Come on - we need some entertainment here.
"NPR admits O-care is a failure"
The rest of the NPR headline: "Republicans to blame"
Hell freezing over? Add that to the list of things to blame on the Republicans. Them with their cadre of evil global warming skeptics. Also to blame: money.
I didn't say that they are the same. I said that they both have blind spots regarding the way wealth allows people to insulate themselves from the concerns of the less wealthy. Especially those among the less wealthy who don't worship wealth.
I'm outta here. Have a civil and epithet-free evening rolling around in hundred dollar bills on your gold-plated yachts, everyone.
You already know Bags is a sexy guy. For christ sake he looks like Magnum P.I. and is a California windsurfer.
And he's rich! (But of course, no one thinks that ever makes anyone more attractive. Ha hahahaha.)
Have a civil and epithet-free evening rolling around in hundred dollar bills on your gold-plated yachts, everyone.
You too!
More polls to ignore
Hot Air's not cooperating with you, April.
No, it's not. well - you can go there now and see it. Another Poll showing Trump losing to Hillary. It also includes all of Trumps negatives.
There's another debate tonight. A Univision debate.
Hillary's at the point where she's saying that she told Wall Street to cut it out. It's becoming a pretty well-worn line.
We shouldn't demonize Wall Street. Our economy couldn't survive without capital.
Bernie's response is pretty funny. He says clearly Hillary intimidated Wall Street, or else they wouldn't have given her $15 million.
You should watch her response. She's totally freaking out and hyperventilating. Silently. While watching him with eyes wide open.
Balls @ 9:44.
That's more reasoned. I can find some truth in there. Wealth can and does insulate SOME people from those who are less so.
Bernie's getting wild applause. To a Hispanic audience in Florida.
Univision asked her about her low honesty ratings.
They're also going after her on Ben Ghazi. With a video on CNN of the families calling her a liar.
I get sick of her saying, and no one following up when she lies:
"It was not prohibited. It was not in any way disallowed and, as I've said and as now has come out, my predecessors did the same thing and many other people in the government."
Hillary - name for me a past Secretary of State who set up a private server.
No no - Not used private e-mail - who set up a PRIVATE SERVER?
Balls - Glad to hear it. I'm no Bernie fan, but she is pure evil double plus ungood. It's long pst time for karma to kick her butt. She needs to be stabbed in the heart with a crucifix and pushed back in her coffin.
The most honest thing she said tonight is that she's not a natural politician - unlike her husband or Obama. Which is what makes her unnatural on the stage. All her words, not mine.
I think this debate is really starting to rattle the hell out of her. I haven't seen Bernie OR the moderators ever get under her skin this much.
This could be the moment when Bernie starts cutting her lead away among Spanish voters. And I think she knows it.
another home run by Coulter. It's amazing how people keep talking about Hitler eve though he's been dead for 70 years.
Nazi Germany - was just like Yesterday.
Lem's needs to get an ignore button.

Stuck in an echo chamber with Ritmo.
Talk about a fate worse than death.
You don't have to be civil about Trump. No one ever is . He can take it. And he can dish it out.
He just keeps winning.
I just saw Cruz getting a tongue bath on FOX. The guy seems deluded to say the least. Anyone that thinks he can win the general is really playing without a full deck.
I do really respect one thing Cuz said tonight. He said they can't just name someone at a brokered convention. That is just not gonna fly.
Which means Trump is inevitable.
Donald is gonna win it, but the RINO supporters of Cruz, Rubio, and Kasich, being in full tilt boogie sore-loser petulant mode, are intent upon rendering him unelectable. So maybe instead we should see if we can get Frauke Petry to relocate to the US.
I don't think Trump is a racist, a fascist, or a failed businessman. On the other hand, I don't see much that points to him being a statesman or wise in the ways of governance. On the other other hand as the octopus said, I'm sure that he's pro American, pro police, pro business, and pro 2nd Amendment. That makes him a better choice than Hillary........That's your choice. Hillary or Trump.......Trump is definitely a leap into the unknown, Call it high adventure. At any rate, his lies and pratfalls will be far more entertaining than those of Hillary.
Top satire.

How many real statesmen have we had? If you stop and think, not many.
As for governance, the Senate has been Cruz' first go and he's only succeeded in alienating everybody, so Trump can probably clear that bar.
Trump is definitely a leap into the unknown, Call it high adventure.
The same could be said of Andrew Jackson or Abraham Lincoln.
I'd like to chime in here to say that time and time again academic studies have definitively shown that "big money" (corporate, superpac, "dark money" pvt money--you name it) in Presidential campaigns IS NOT used to influence or "buy" politicians. Think about it, do elephants give to donkey campaigns hoping to curry favor with the donkeys and change their views via the functional equivalent of bribes? The same for the dems. Rather, big money is given to advance the careers of politicians who ALREADY share the beliefs/philosophy of their financial backers and who are expected in the course of events to enact legislation that is congruent with beliefs of those of the donors. In short, no "bribes" are needed when contributing to the campaigns of like-minded politicians. As such, such contributions should rather be seen as simply ensuring that long-held mutual beliefs/policies of both the donor and donee are actually enacted and put into practice- --"bribes" not being necessary among like-minded people. Thus seen, politicians are not so much "bought" by their financial backers as simply aided in accomplishing mutually-held pre-existing beliefs/goals. (e.g., Regans financial backers contributed to insure that Regans political philosophy would be enacted--a political philosophy they already shared with the Governor of California. No "bribes" being necessary to bring him around to their pov..)
Here's a cutie that ought to be a post all its own in prime time (whatever that is around here).
Jorge Ramos to Hildabeast: Will you drop out if indicted?.
Guy must be tired of living.
@boycat/
Thanks for the link. My kind of gal. I may even propose marriage.. :)
PS: Although the four kids might be tough to handle..
"I don't think Trump is a racist, a fascist, or a failed businessman."
While the first two are matters of opinion, the third is not. It's just biography, financial reporting, and math. The important thing is that his entire career is one of convincing people of the opposite of his actual results. That is why it's so important to this election. He is continuing and expanding a scam that has taken in many time after time. Some think that recommends him even more.
If you were hiring a doctor to do critical surgery on your daughter, and found out that his surgeries were far more likely to fail than the average surgeon, would you hire him? Would you accept his assurances that "it will be wonderful, just amazing surgery"? Would it be sufficient that he is better at surgery than your plumber? Would it matter that he was very popular with people who never used him as a surgeon, and who didn't care about it?
He is supposedly qualified primarily because he is good at something he is not good at: making deals, negotiating, making smart decisions, getting what he wants, etc. He's just not, unless mediocrity was his goal.
Bags wrote He is supposedly qualified primarily because he is good at something he is not good at: making deals, negotiating, making smart decisions, getting what he wants, etc. He's just not, unless mediocrity was his goal.
Talked last evening at length with my conservative + conservative-evangelical, fucked-over-by-not-just-the-economy-but-also-the-culture-for-yea-a-couple-so-decades brother, who lives in rural Tennessee (he called to wish me happy birthday, and the conversation went on from there). He, in specific, articulate, informed, realist, precise, measured, and concerned terms, told me that and why he voted for Ted Cruz--as opposed to the other choice made by so many, there, where he lives, where he's churched, where he works, where he's raised/raising his kids, where his die got cast and therefore, onward ho. (I am very proud of my brother, whom I've deeply, fiercely loved since the day he was born, just 2 and 1/4 years after I was.)
It was illuminating. I've never been a Cruz fan--and far from it: In fact, I have been the opposite of that.
That said.
I am not immune to facts.
Also, I am not immune to experience.
boycat - Trump has rendered himself un-electable.
The height of Trumpster blind faith is calling Cruz a rino.
You do know that Donald is a democrat, he gives to democrats, he hates conservatives, and he loves Hillary and gives her money. Donated to her 2008 campaign.
Trump was pro-amnesty in 2012. Trump just moved to the left or rino Cruz on immigration. **Does not matter to the blind faithful.**
April loves to ignore the fact, raised by Troop and myself, that many businessmen give to both parties to make sure that they do not become the next Gibson Guitar.
April also doesn't want to deal with the fact the the One true Ted's voting record was a lot more go-along-to-get-along than all his puffery since he's developed Presidential aspirations.
Or the fact Mr Christian turns a blind eye to the dirty tricks pulled by his campaign.
Unelectable? Who's winning the delegate race? Who can barely win outside the Bible Belt.
As for failed businessman, failures are not worth billions.
But some people are just into hate.
Trump openly expressed adoration for Hillary, on numerous occasions.
I know donors spread the money around. That's not the issue.
Trump specifically supported Hillary. He was shocked when Obama didn't pick her to be his VP.
If you want to ignore polls revealing Trump losing to Hillary or Sanders, you do that.
I don't hate Trump. I dislike him. A crime in the minds of the blind faithers.
Trooper gets it --
"You don't have to be civil about Trump. No one ever is . He can take it. And he can dish it out."

Remember, at approx this point in the election cycle Ronnie Ray-gun was down 30 points in the polls behind Jimmah Carter..
Virgil - If only Trump had the intelligence, elegance, positive charm, eloquent verbal skills and calm temperament of Reagan. I'd be on board that Trump train with a flag in each hand.
No, you hate him because you want to. It's weird.
BTW, how come everyone forgets the One True Ted is part of the Bush machine? He was a big player in Dubya's campaign and even got a couple of jobs out of it. Explains his voting record his first year in the Senate - just a lot more Jeb than Dubya.
I thought all the "Conservatives" around here hated the Bushes as much as the Ozark Mafia.
No, ed - You are wrong. I dislike Trump because of his own behavior. I've praised him in the past after he says something I agree with. Those moments are rarer by the day. I hope if he is the nominee, that he can figure out how to get all the people hwo dislike him to like him. Not everyone is a blind faither, and most people are laughing at him.
ed - your shtick is stale and boring. We get it, you are a Trump Blind Faither and you hate everyone else.
Ed - you simply cannot understand and refuse to believe Trump's high negatives and why he has them. so you attack me because you literally cannot comprehend my weird non-blind faith in the man and that I must be the only person out of over 300 million people in America to feel this way. So weird!
Projection, it's not just for Bell&Howell.
As for high negatives, so does Hillary.
And what makes anyone believe the One True Ted would do any better once people got to know him?
(in fact the opposite is true and people were quite concerned about his likability, but some people can't get past their own hate)
Hillary has high negatives, indeed. You buy those. Trump's negatives are higher. You don't buy that at all. go figure.
46,000 Democrats in PA have switched to the Republican Party this year
Those that discount the cross over appeal of Trump with blue collar, working class Democrats, Hispanics and African Americans as well as Independents are not paying attention.
People are mad and it isn't just Republicans.
