I've heard a couple of stories of aggressive varmints lately. Maybe the squirrels know that there's no such thing as global warming and, in fact, we're in for some serious cooling this winter.
Holy crap! I feed about a half dozen squirrels at my house every day. They come right up to the open kitchen window and I feed them peanuts right out of my hand. They don't seem aggressive at all, except to each other. In fact, the slightest movement sends them running. We put peanuts on the window sill and they come and eat them every morning. The scrub jays do too - beautiful large birds similar appearance to a blue jay, but very intelligent. They are one of the most intelligent animals - check Wikipedia. Last week a scrub jay actually few into the house and spent the day on top of my TV before I grabbed him and took him outside. Even he didn't bite me, and I had him in my hands. Check this crazy squirrel's email. There has to be ISIS contacts in there.
"The same squirrel is suspected of attacking five others in the last two weeks in the surrounding neighborhood including a teacher and student at Pleasant Valley Elementary.
Animal control officers have been patrolling the area, searching for the squirrel. Warning flyers have also been posted."
