What a lovely shade of purple...what shade would everyone call that. I have a problem sometimes naming shades. Ooops, my night screen is on, which filters blue. Let me turn it off and check.
That's the color of the grape skins imparted to the wine. The whole grape is lighter though because the inside is translucent. Real burgundy is very dark IMO.
I was wondering if it came from the grape skin color. April cranberry is a lovely darker red.
I've gotten mixed up between burgundy and maroon..which is red based, which is purple. But I figure maroon must be the deep red because it probably is based on marrow.
