News you won't get on ESPN or E or NBC or anywhere else

Unlike the mainstream media I like to follow up on stories and if I am wrong about something I will be happy to admit it.

The Amber Alert in Houston for Dereck Wayne Felder was canceled after he returned home a few hours after the alert was sent out.  The situation was described as follows by a local Houston TV station:

KHOW.com:
CONROE, Texas – An Amber Alert has been discontinued for a 12-year-old boy from Conroe.
Dereck Wayne Felder returned home hours after the alert was issued.
Conroe police earlier said they were looking for a cross-dresser named Cornelius Alix in connection with Dereck's disappearance. Alix also goes by the name Chekita Joseph. Police still want to question her.
Police said earlier they believed Derek was in "grave danger."
They later said Alix knows the family and had babysat Derek and a sibling.
Alix has a long rap sheet including aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, evading arrest, prostitution and fraud.
It's not clear whether any charges will be filed in this case.

So the transgender dude was just a prostitute, drug addict and baby sitter.

Not a kid toucher.

Houston is almost as bad as Austin, they say, but this creep should still do time.

I mean they want to arrest parents who let their kids walk home from school alone. Shouldn't these parents be in the hoosegow?
