She's a bit full of herself. No surprise, there. I wouldn't call that a joke about weed. Nor would I call that laughing at her own joke. More like merriment.
She picks up some points for the self-deprecating way she observes that she over-values something so simple as the barista's craft, intended for consumption. A commonplace, really.
I'll credit her for being unguarded. Goofy. A nerd, really.
It is pettiness, in the extreme, to hate on someone so important for something so unimportant.
Not mob at the guillotine stuff, but still unbecoming.
She looked likable and good natured. She generally doesn't score high on the charm scale, but it can be done. I don't think it was manipulative on her part, but, as April Apple points out, it is manipulative of the media to highlight the one time she looks appealing and ignore the many times she has beaten campaign workers to death.
So I guess she's trying to suggest we should all get excited about the pig but that second-rate Okie grifter power of suggestion is not gonna work on me!

Just trying to connect w/ "the normals" as they say on Veep.
As is usual with the power-obsessed, she is completely unlikable.
It's all part of the grand manipulation.
So, will the news media follow the prospective R candidate around to capture his or her cuteness, and hip coffee house/beer hall finesse?
I didn't think so.
2 years of this dynasty pimping.
She's in town to stump for one-platform Mark Uterus(D).
Mandy McConnell was excellent on her show today.
Ladies, vote with your head not your uterus.

Wasn't she talking about her husband?
A fawning press is required.
(funny - last I heard, the Clinton machine sends spies after reporters into the bathrooms.)
The grand manipulation marches on.
