That reminded me of a favorite movie called "Cold Comfort Farm":

I like that film too. It has Patrick Stewart who becomes a whacked evangelist.
Chip: Look no further than Lem's own Levity for a relevant scene: No Butter In Hell.
Stephen Frye has some great lines and Kate Beckinsale is to fall in love with in "Cold Comfort Farm."
Cold Comfort Farm is a wonderful book if you like parody -- deft, sly and very funny. And the movie absolutely does it justice.
That's Ian McEllen, Chip, not Patrick Stewart as the preacher.
