Although sources did not officially confirm the identity of the masked man, the Sunday Times reported (paywall) that a London-based rapper, Abdel-Majed Abdel Bary, 23, is a key suspect in the case. The Times of Israel
In his most recent video clip, posted to YouTube in March this year, he talked of his anger at his father’s 1998 arrest.
“Give me the pride and the honor like my father, I swear the day they came and took my dad, I could have killed a cop or two,” he rapped. “Imagine then I was only six, picture what I’d do now with a loaded stick. Like boom bang fine, I’m wishing you were dead, violate my brothers and I’m filling you with lead.”

Rapper, raper
poor rapport,
rapport with the poor and much more gore.
Which culture drives the rapper? Is it the brutality of ISIS-style Islam, or the rap culture?
Or is the ISIS culture a safe place to release the violence preached in some rap music?
"British Rapper" sounds like a Monty Python skit, by the way.
'ello lads
'ello lads
how's yer guffin?
Regards to yer mum
Lets pinch a muffin.
For me to poop on.
Comic the insult dog sends his approval.
The best comment there:
"Fear not, Britain. I have every confidence you will resolutely continue to blame Israel and the Jews for Islamic extremism. Nothing to see here."
Others commented that he sounded like Ali G, which did seem to be the case from the video. What would be really bizarre is if it were ever found out that as a London-based "rapper" wanna-be in the 90s, he had actually been the original inspiration for Ali G: The original layabout with mom and the 5 five kids in a million £ property spouting tough talking crap. It only makes his douchieness that much clearer.
How predictable. It was Scott Atran who first dismayed the Marxist left by pointing out that, far from the best predictor of terrorist activity being poverty, it tends to be over-indulged spoiled twats with Western exposure. Make of that what you will.
Add it to my growing pile of reasons I detest rap.
Rap is not music. It's laziness and anger.

That formula has a domestic flavor as well: Bill Ayers et al.
Overseas, I think one or two Bader-Meinoffers were spoiled rich kids. Oh and I came within a degree of separation from meeting a Chowchilla kidnapper/terrorist: link.
Well, He needs to be Tupac'ed. Suge Knight almost bought it last night. Quite the fuckin' culture.
So was Michael Brown.
This is very surprising. I thought most rappers were unemployed losers who spend their time begging for money on the internet as they demand reparations.
Who knew they were terrorist?
Dude really wanted to be famous. IS's days are numbered.
Dear Mr. President: Please go get him.
What bullshit - Obama won't go get him - they are on the same side.
ISIS will thrive as long as Obama is in power - he won't miss a round of golf to even nominally resist his brothers in arms.
We are being led by Valerie Jarrett - if you think she is on our side you are more delusional than a law prof's house pet.
