My friends organized for her mother to speak to them one time at a private home here in Denver, two Democrat types, imagine that, when the two women were much less expensive. Probably even free, I'll bet. But try as I might, that day I found that I simply could not bring myself to care about
So many other pressing matters at hand such as walking my neighbor's dog and properly disposing its poo.
Tell us, Supporters, how wrong I am in harboring such a bad attitude, explain all the wonderful philanthropic things they do over there at that foundation. The list of great efforts is admirable. Wikipedia [Clinton Foundation]

Very droll.
Just like BHO, she's never done anything and doesn't really know anything (except maybe scamming, the family biz, after all).
I am guessing that is Webb Hubbell's daughter in that picture. Her mother charges three times as much.
It's a good thing the press is all over this corruption and that the justice department is shutting down this money laundering scheme.
$214 million of revenue. That foundation is a scam. It is merely a way of enriching the Clintons, while pretending to "bring people together".
I haven't noticed that people are more together now than they were before the foundation was created.
For a $75,000 speaking fee, I should hope she throws in a juggling act or maybe pulls a rabbit out of a hat or something.
After all, talk is cheap.
For that kind of money she better...
...well, never mind - this being a family blog and all.
Hey, the Manson family was a family too!
What you mean "bad" attitude?
I would like to take this moment to note that I'm also available for speaking at a function or meeting for $75,000.
Please send your invitation to the address listed in my account information. Thank you.
Webb Hubbell!! That man had a mouth so big you could put a whole pie in that hole. The perfect Clinton sycophant.
Nagin got ten years for accepting a few hundred thousand in bribes. This is what differentiates the pros from the amateurs. Not only do the Clintons rake in millions, but their bribes are tax deductible. Poor Nagin was never even able to break into the seven figure range. The Clinton Foundation should sponsor workshops in bribe management so that less skilled Democrat politicians could benefit from their expertise.
What the hell does Chelsea have to say that anyone would line up and pay her a thin dime?
It's all a scam to enrich the Clintons. Look at who is paying these fees. All corrupt cronies who want a seat at the trough.
Idiots lining up to hear "we did it for the children" "we have to come together as a community". and other tired bromides and clichés. 75,000 - what a crock.
Haz, you're looking at it wrong. Imagine how far apart we'd be withOUT the Clinton Foundation!
Govt grants provided $45 Million [50%] or the CHI revenue in 2012.
The govt and these non-profits have become a huge money laundering operation and it is almost impossible to track all the ins and outs and connections.
AJ-
Corruption at its finest. And yet I hear people on the right and so called middle who are comfortable with the Clintons. It's like our nation is in a trance.
So who is willing to pay Chelsea $75K to speak? People who think her future value is worth it because she has a father who was president and a mother who is striving for it.
Which is sort of sick.
Not a scintilla of difference between the Clintons and the local thug who walks into your store and says, "Nice store you've got here, too bad if anything should happen to it." What deep pockets buy when they pay these obscene speaking fees is protection both positive and negative: they'll have access to the Dragon Lady President (or even if our first Queen isn't enthroned the Clinton machine will still guarantee them advantages) and they'll never be targeted as haters.
OK, I'll take the flak just to get this over with:
$75K seems high for someone w such a wooden delivery. An impressive family tree, tho.
I pretty sure the whole foundation will survive the lives of the two principles, but not as the machine it is with those two alive. Without them It will automatically become more ethical in adhering to its stated core missions and that means far less effective, far less worthwhile as corruptive influence peddling machine.
If only they did what they say they do, I'd have no problem with them. But it's not what they do. It's not why they exist.
Forget Chelsea Clinton. I will come to your home and lecture you for $200, gasoline costs, a cold beer, and a hamburger.
Yeah but Haz- what can you offer me in the way of a K Street lobbyist and a new law that forces tax payers to subsidize my new business plan?
Okay, $250.
"Clinton's speeches "are on behalf of the Clinton Foundation, and 100 percent of the fees are remitted directly to the foundation,”
That appears to mean that Clinton does not claim the fees as income and then as charitable donations. As a highly paid New Yorker she would realize around 50% of the fees if she claimed them as income and deductions.
Clearing that up would have been a good piece of journalism, but it was the Times.
Children of Party Leaders go to the front of every line. Jesus, it's just pitiful. In America. At least silly old Meghan McCain produced a book and a tv show, actual work, albeit galactically stupid and probably ghosted, but STILL, actual work was involved at some point along the line. Makes you wonder if Malia and Sasha will be awarded Oscars and lifetime achievement awards on their 18th birthdays, just for existing. There's precedent, after all ... Daddy got the Nobel Peace Prize for, um, what?
Hey, lefties all concerned about inequality and social justice and fairness: DOES THIS BOTHER YOU?
a) Yes, but she seems like such a nice, accomplished young woman and it must have been hard growing up in that family and her mom suffered such abuse so if it helps Hillary! I'm all for it.
b) Yes, it's irritating, but it's not my place to question Party Leaders and plus they might audit me.
c) No, rules are for the little people (well, the ones wot pay taxes). I understand that quaint notions of equality, fairness, and justice do not apply to Party Leaders personally. Except Republicans.
d) Bush lied, people died.
For a $75,000 speaking fee, I should hope she throws in a juggling act or maybe pulls a rabbit out of a hat or something.
You can be she doesn't do hiding tricks with cigars. That's for other parents daughters to perform.
