Him being the guest on a radio broadcast does not undo or negate the invective, distortions and lies he dropped here and elsewhere.

He did a great job analyzing music with his host, and old friend, and he's been invited back for next week, which took him by surprise.

I think these are recorded in podcast form for later listening, and if you are curious, you may hear my and Virgil X's call-ins. Mine was not the smoothest.

I'm happy for his good fortune.

That Meade would show up to stir the pot was no surprise. Neither was the lecture on us "all" doing better. Who couldn't have imagined that?

Darcy, I would like to put in a word for Crack on the terribly disgusting things he said about whites in general and us. He'd been in terrible back pain, maybe on pain killers that loosened the tongue and clouded the judgement. He'd been hurt that people were offering money to Trooper in his hour of need, but not him (yes, I know hearts beat spines), he was out of work, etc. The Crack we saw...and was called forth by a taunting post...was in a terribly black mood, I imagine. The Crack I heard today was positive, upbeat, happy to be back with an old friend, felt the thrill of the hunt (broadcasting), and was feeling valued.

Please, all, don't re-hash the recent past. We were all there. I think moving on may be in order. Live and let live. Let M/A/C do their thing. It's no skin off our noses.

That's actually what got me started disliking Crack the second time. Althouse mentioned not seeing the movie in an offhand way and Crack posted a screed on his blog attacking her. I thought it was stupid and unfair. That was months ago.

I escalated the confrontation -- concurrently with many others -- culminating with my posting of a photo on this blog which was my comment on "The Macho Response" and its content.

I labelled February, 2014 as "Black Histrionics Month" at Althouse and if you go back and look at the written record there in the comments, it's plain as day.

So they have to get their pets somewhere else. Sometimes they borrow them for a while.

I've supported Crack financially in the past. I don't regret it. I did it when he seemed to be doing good work. That's usually the best reason to pay people. Now, I must agree with the suggestion that "We (I) could all do damn well better." Lately, his stuff has been like watching a movie car chase - lots of fire and noise, but how many times can you endure the same shit decade after decade by everyone trying to make a quick name for themselves on a worn out formula sucking on the humanity and honor of 200 year-old slaves and their sacrifices. Have some damned respect.

I know that it's supposed to be all artsy-fartsy to view misery as a creative driving force, but I think it's a lie. I can't create when I'm stressed or pained or worried or have things in my head. I can fight on the internet, easy peasy... but create? Nope. Doesn't happen.

I should be writing now, though, because I can again. I can dream again and I can make things rather than just react. Doesn't mean I'll finish anything, but hello brain! Nice to have you back.

So maybe the whole country will get a little more positive if we can all decompress a little bit, stop being angry a little bit.

Which means he can speak for himself and make his own explanations and amends without needing another to put in a word or do it for him.

I have been busy this morning and missed the back and forth.

I want to thank Deborah for her comment moderation this morning. Well done.

The only thing is this mess should serve a teachable moment. No good will come of engaging this bitter damaged people. We should leave that to professionals. This place has been percolating along very nicely without them and they have their own garden to frolic in and purvey their pernicious philosophy. Why summon Cthulhu and her paramour,sockpuppets and minions?

It is a dangerous thing to do.

Because the same whites, who openly say they "don't even think about race," also (just as conveniently) can't conceive of themselves as racists. Even as they don't think about what they're doing. But others are.

I am happy to join with you today in what will go down in history as the greatest demonstration for freedom in the history of our nation.
