"A suspicious email could confirm Lois Lerner's culpability in recent IRS abuses."

"The so-called “smoking gun” proving the Internal Revenue Service played politics with conservative groups seeking official non-profit, social welfare status over the last several years may finally have been found."

"In a rash of documents provided under the Freedom of Information Act to Judicial Watch, a non-partisan public interest law group, is an April 2013 email written by David Fish, acting manager of IRS Exempt Organizations Technical Guidance and Quality Assurance and sent to, among others, former IRS Director of Exempt Organizations Lois Lerner. It was part of a thread discussing a recent U.S. Senate hearing on the potential for the abuse of the 501(c)(4) tax status by organizations intervening inappropriately or improperly in candidate elections."

Well, gosh, who woulda guessed?

Obviously, Prez Obama ordered the IRS to attack his enemies. Have his subordinates completely scrubbed any info that would lead to him? Who knows?

The IRS is add something like 14,000 new employees specifically to enforce the new Obamacare provisions.

Can't see any problem there, right?

Eric Holder won't admit he met with Lois Lerner and told her that he would cover for her and let the investigation stall.

Funny how the corruptocrats need a crutch to win. They cannot operate on a fair playing field. The authoritarian progressives need a media crutch and an IRS crutch in order to fool just over 50% of us.

I wonder what's in all the redacted shit.

What a fucking joke the government has become.

At least the Soviets didn't try to pretend that they weren't locking up their enemies. Well, they lied to the outside world, but nobody inside the walls was being bullshitted. It was straight up suppression.

But we're stuck with the You socrazy! There's no voter fraud/IRS witch-hunt/Nevada land-theft/crony capitalism going on here!! Whattareya, CRAZY??

Isn't this where Schmendrik comes in with his arms flailing like windmills yelling about the DUI conviction against Issa when he was 20? C'mon Schmendrik, earn your pay, throw more sand.

You have to understand. There are protected classes in our brave new world. Catamites and communists are protected like they are snail darters or desert tortoises and your normal run of the mill citizens just have to pay the tab and shut up. Or be prosecuted.

"Get on the stick" another election is right around the corner!!! Wheeeeee! Then we can bring out the guillotines and really get this party started.

Like ST at the top: We should be surprised and/or shocked about all this exactly why?

"lol, Amartel."

Yeah - lol. Hilarious.

"go out and fall on your sword"

Is that what George Washington and the American Revolutionaries did -- fell on their swords?

Paddy O said...

Yes, but did you hear about what the Republican city council member from that small town said about someone who who is gay?! That's much worse!

Amartel said...

Aw lighten UP mary, it's just a blog. And get a clue; you have no standing to bitch about people bitching while you're bitching about people bitching. Also, an apt comparison would be helpful. I am unavailable to defend the Alamo and/or storm the Bastille today as I am due in court. Good DAY, sir.

Meade said...

Good luck on your way to court, Shirley. Careful not to slip and fall on your apt comparisons.

Well if it starts looking like they aren't doing things right, don't you dare object unless you following it with a self-immolation, unless we are talking a technical issue, in which case a self-castration might be sufficient. The important thing is to prove you are not a pussy.

Could?

This thing has smelled to high heaven from Day One and half of Congress, and all of this Administration, should hang for it.

Don't forget the NSA crutch, the blackmail crutch, the demagoguery crutch, and the vote fraud crutch. CO, DC, and IA have more people registered to vote than are actually eligible and NC, working off the number of people who voted there and at least one more state, figures at least a million voted illegally in '12.

(if you multiply it out, it's closer to 2 mil, which (surprise!) was Choom's margin of victory)

As a matter of fact, they were.

("we must all hang together or we shall surely all hang separately", somebody said that)

Shit. Tough guy, the Carlos Danger clone, is back. Off topic as usual.

Hey fuck face, the topic is the IRS and Lois Lerner. You too dim to gather that?

BTW....

LEM...have you figured out yet that this sniveling mother fucker is out to ruin anything you build?

LSL is the canary in the coal mine. The more he's here the more they are struggling @ TOP. Annie just did a tedious and condescending post on comments and commenters. She said the blowup last year was because no one cared how she felt. A narcissistic classic

Actually, that is pretty much correct. No one cares.

Another actually, no one cared to be coerced to conform to her ideas on certain topics. The inability to take criticism or entertain (or even just ignore) opposing views was the root cause of the blow up.

The comment section and interaction with the commentators is what drew me to the blog in the first place. The ideas thrown out, chummed by the hostess were interesting, but much much more interesting was the interaction between persons and the process of debate.

Is debate, outside of a structured environment, messy? Heck yeah. That is part of the fun. However, when the school 'maarm shows up to try to quash the free flow of ideas and demand that everyone read her mind and conform.....everyone loses interest.

On the current episode of the Real Housewives of New York...Ramona Singer insists that Heather and Carole make up with Aviva. Or least confront her. You see you need that drama to get eyeballs.

On the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.....Lisa Vanderpump refused to engage and the ratings nosedived.

You have to bring the drama and angst and fighting to get the eyeballs.

The highest rated of all the Housewives shows is Atlanta. They are going to have an actual fist fight on the reunion show this weekend.
