ObamaCare Website Is Not "Fixed".

"Yesterday, I reported on the troubles I had accessing the new-and-improved HealthCare.gov. The Obama administration today said more than 1 million people accessed the site yesterday and that it was stable for users."
The president likewise touted the site’s performance today, part of a push to promote the law.

So I decided to try the site again this afternoon. This time, I didn’t see the “Please Wait” flags that bogged me down yesterday, but I had a more fundamental problem. When I got to the step of comparing health plans, I couldn’t see any.

First warning sign. Never ever give any of your personal information to someone named Teniqua. Not even your name and telephone number.

Hang up or disconnect and pray. It is probably too late anyway for this guy since he has likely entered his social security number and the hackers have infected his computer with key loggers and other viruses.

Hey Obama, you know what?

This is what it looks like when someone actually "didn't build that."

It wastes a ton of money and doesn't do what it supposed to. If Obamacare was your business - which it kinda is - then you would be out of business and not be able to pay any taxes. Maybe you could show a little respect for all the rubes around the country that you think didn't build theirs' and who you now need and expect to pay for your pet projects so you can take the credit without having to make them actually work.

Not so easy, is it Bozo?

But but but Obama is on a new Words Tour. His words will heal everything. He has new words and old words -and vilification.Lots of vilification. Including the old canard that The R's have no ideas. Which is a lie.
But hey - Obama lies all the time. Why not hit the road on the tax payer dime and lie some more?
Words. The media so desperately want to help the man and his plan.
Ignore the Potemkin website and the fact that your health insurance lies bleeding on a death bed.

Remember - even though it's a lie, the best way to adore the king is to blindly obey, let his words wash over you, feel the hate for all who question his brilliance and out-of-touch wisdom, and drink the koolaid.

btw- excellent link by Bagoh to the Noonan. Yes she pisses us off - but she nails it here.

It's 7 degrees and snowing. Off to shovel my neighbor's walk. brrr.

You're right about Noonan, April: both that she can be infuriatingly inane, and that in this case she is exactly right.

That's an Independent Payment Advisory Bed. Please try to keep up with the approved terminology.

Obama says:
"You can’t just say that the system was working with 41 million people without health insurance."

Obama argues like a brat. Reductio ad absurdum much, jerk?

Republicans never said that. Not even once. Now, with the ACA forced on us, 5 million people and counting no longer have insurance and the Potemkin website isn't actually working. Turns out anyway, no one wants to pay more for unnecessary government mandated crap.

We are in fantasy land. We have to pretend to take Obama seriously. I can't anymore.

This must be what it feels like when you are sentenced to death and the electric chair malfunctions.

"Don't worry. We'll get it fixed."

Yea, I can hardly wait.

[4:09:57 pm]: Teniqua

Yes, others are experiencing the same problem.

Uh oh, I betcha' Teniqua just left on out...fired for being honest?

And no, that is not hyperbole. This law will kill people.

Doesn't have to work. To cite an administration mantra: "At this point, what difference does it make?"

Government will collect their money, either way, under the letter of the law known as the PPACA. The PPACA is one law you can bet your heiny that Holder will enforce.

A perfect match, then...Obama is just pretending he knows what he is doing, too. :)

What amazes me about these dumb fuckers is they keep screaming for more more MORE and getting it without ever having an understanding of the assets the government already has. So much, so many assets it cannot be counted, cannot be kept track of, cannot be understood and so cannot be properly used.

Benghazi is the perfect example of woeful mismanagement and misallocation of resources, with Hillary screaming there are too many embassies to keep track of. That means you've become too big already for your britches, and your britches are WAY too big so that you cannot keep track of your own pants.

The Federal Reserve Benefits system that includes healthcare is excellent. They've already done what this government is trying to do, socialized their healthcare. So the Federal government already OWNS a perfectly good benefits system but doesn't know it. Apparently Federal government is unaware it already has an excellent website that operates splendidly, handles all FRB employees all at once, does everything this system hopes to do every single year; it does collect all that personal information and keep it private, it does sort the providers and explain their offerings and costs sensibly, it does handle every health-related situation imaginable, it handle prescriptions separately, along with a payments system. It incorporates Medicare, long term disability, and retirements, And finally it does have great security surrounding the whole system, inter/intra-district. ANd they actually brought costs down! Everything Obamacare hopes to be and fails at is already owned by Federal government, is in place and functioning, just take it, copy it, scale it up, but no, they have to shut out Republicans, start from scratch, hand over the project to a company with a history of failure in a neighboring foreign country, do this in secret and avoid using resources already owned far less American resources to start new, and all that is possible because the man who is president and his handlers cannot trust and so are not trusted, and actually do not understand the vastness of the government they presume to be running.

Short versions: the criminal syndicate labeled D are actually dumb fuckers with less knowledge of American government than you, and collectively have zero basis for respect.

We've heard this all before
[You are stupid so Important Concepts need to be repeated several times!]
People are dying
[Everyone dies!]
because of this law
[Republicans and insurance companies are killing people!]
and the uninsured are still uninsured, but there are more of them
[Glitches, bitches!]
and the people who do have coverage will pay much much more for things they don't need or want.

"At this point, what difference does it make." indeed, Aridog.
Hillary Clinton is a walking talking Potemkin village.-- With pockets stuffed with the super-wealthy donors dollars.

What we need is a filibuster proof Brave New World Advisory Board.
"The Independent Payment Advisory Board, a panel with the power to impose cost-saving measures."

You probably have no idea of just how right, dead f'ing on the money, you are with that statement. Really. Yet, it is almost an understatement. It is relatively easy to loot what isn't accurately counted. And it is. Just saying.

So the Federal government already OWNS a perfectly good benefits system but doesn't know it.

Why yes it does, say I for the umpteenth time here and elsewhere. However, a far wider and more adaptable system is the Federal Employees Health Benefit Program (FEHBP). Even the douche John Kerry proposed it in his 2004 campaign.

And now, with zero coverage by anyone anywhere, comes House Resolution 3319 that in six pages outlines how the FEHBP could be utilized as an effective system, using a database that has run successfully for over 50 years now. With the addition of 2 to 3 more pages (not 2300 f'ing pages) to cover means testing and employer criteria, it could be done. And it can be totally optional, no penalty, just as it is now. How do I know? I am on on now. It could have BEEN DONE before, but a new empire was wanted....more power, benefit be damned. Thus you have the 2500 +/- page abortion called the PPACA.

Aridog said...

Need to add that the FEHBP also has a contracting system that has run successfully for over 50 years and generally provides a dozen or more private sector carriers & plans in each state, has no prior condition exclusions, and is portable in the sense that inter-state moves can be accommodated.

The paucity of plans under the ACA is shameful ... by design. It doesn't have to be that way as proven by the FEHBP.

January is when the big pieces of crap will hit the fan. Thousands of people will claim they signed up for insurance but never got a bill for their premium and Healthcare.gov will have no record of them and then the taxpayers will get a bill for $40-$50 Billion to cover their healthcare bills. I guarantee this will happen.
