"Emails: IRS Sent Tea Party Tax Documents to FEC"

"The Internal Revenue Service (IRS) shared confidential tax records from several tea party groups with the Federal Election Commission (FEC), emails obtained by the conservative watchdog group Judicial Watch reveal."
Lois Lerner, the former head of the IRS tax-exempt division at the heart of the agency’s targeting scandal, sent the FEC records from several conservative groups, including the American Future Fund and the American Issues Project. Federal privacy laws heavily protect tax returns and associated documents.
“These extensive emails and other materials provide a disturbing window into the activities of two out-of-control federal agencies: the IRS and FEC,” Judicial Watch President Tom Fitton said in a statement. “And there is the very real question as to whether these documents evidence a crime.”
Judicial Watch obtained the emails from the FEC through an Aug. 9, 2013, Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request.
Lerner invoked her Fifth Amendment rights and refused to testify before the Oversight Committee earlier this year. She retired last month while an internal IRS probe was still ongoing, guaranteeing her a federal pension.

I'm babysitting my granddaughter while the kids move today, so you'll have to bear with me.

Not much I can do but websurf.

But, those fucking Tea Party bastards are racists! Ask Crack. They're in favor of slavery! Would bring it back in a NY minute if only they could!

So, fuck them!

The State is like any other organism. Priority #1 is that it grows, expands its realm. And any opposition to that imperative is seen as a mortal threat. And must be destroyed. I would say that Lois Lerner was a state soldier ant doing what state soldier ants do but that would be an insult to soldier ants.

She's a very bad woman.

She must be hung. From a very high pole.

And then spun.

Like that Peruvian Indian pole dance that is done. Except by the neck. And her partners in crime too.

You can actually make that in pop-up form. It's done all the time. It's not a great mechanism, it's annoying, and not all that reliable either. It's used to make fairy wings flutter, to make a flag spin, to make something sparkly spin around while the card is opening or closing. So good for the movement, at any rate, here is how it works:

A regular V mechanism placed across the central fold holds a stick.

So the stick flips up and down when the card is opened.

A straw is placed around the stick. A sipping straw used to sip a delicious sugary carbonated refreshing beverage.

A thread is strung from points on opposite sides of the stick and straw that flips up and down. The thread wraps around the straw three or four times. The length of thread remains constant, but by being wrapped around an intervening pole the string forces the pole to spin so that it can flip up or flip down as it moves along the length of string. The coils force the sipping straw to spin as the pole changes its position in relationship to the two points of string.

If you had a bow and arrow and the string loose enough to wrap an arrow three times, and pinched the arrow in place but moved the feathery end of the arrow along the length of the string then the arrow would twirl to accommodate that movement, in order for it to move along the length of string. That's what the pop-up device is doing. A 45 degree flip can be achieved with a V mechanism and that translates to considerable twirls, depending on wraps and widths and such. And that could spinning sipping straw could have attachments, say, 4 or 6 or any number of IRS agents hanging by their necks. So that they spin. Like native festival pole spinners, here at 45 seconds.

Dare me. Doubledogdare me. That would be two in a row. A psychological obsession. So maybe best to leave it fully thought out and considered already done and avoid the obsession label.

Change you can believe in!

"A tech firm linked to a campaign-donor crony of President Obama not only got the job to help build the federal health-insurance Web site — but also is getting paid to fix it.
Anthony Welters, a top campaign bundler for Obama and frequent White House guest, is the executive vice president of UnitedHealth Group, which owns the software company now at the center of the ObamaCare Web-site fiasco.
UnitedHealth Group subsidiary Quality Software Services Inc. (QSSI), which built the data hub for the ObamaCare system, has been named the new general contractor in charge of repairing the glitch-plagued HealthCare.gov.
Welters and his wife, Beatrice, have shoveled piles of cash into Obama’s campaign coffers and apparently reaped the rewards.
Beatrice Welters bundled donations totaling between $200,000 and $500,000 for Obama’s campaign during the 2008 election cycle, according to campaign- finance data compiled by Center for Responsive Politics."

Back in the 90s I mentioned to a long-time friend/fraternity brother that the inner-city New Orleans school to which she had been "bussed" for her learning disability was majority black.

"You noticed," came the reply. Same same here..

Lois Lerner broke the law, but she did it for The King. So now she's retired with full tax payer funded benefits.

You guys are so close to bringing an end to the Obama administration. Only three more years. Almost there now...

I don't think Obama's enemies are his problem. We're just basking in the glow of "I told you so", which also means were all fucked thanks to the incompetent 50% + who voted for one of their own...twice.

So, Bag CH3COOH. What happens when enrollment increases? Will we all still be fucked? Will increased pools of insured lead to decreased quality and raised prices permanently?

Let me know Big Guy. Everyone knows what an actuarial aficionado you are so let it all rip on how everything's now messed up for all time.

Who wants it to end?

Another 3 years of corruption and incompetence and the Left will be crippled for a generation.

Stick that in your FUD.

You honestly think people wan t any of this?

The slugs are finding out that "free" health care isn't free and nobody else wants to go before a death panel.

You can just smell the fear coming off Ritmo.

Such acerbic wit! You do sour the whine. You truly are the fluorine of commenters, able to suck the very electrons out of pixels, virtually erasing them.

I learned quite a bit about the uninsured out here by living with them an talking to them.

"You don't understand Bruce...my people just don't believe in insurance...they think it's a scam...like protection money back in the old country."

You will sooner see a rise in Spanish language, affordable, pay-as-you-go homeopathic medicine than a jump in enrollment in ObamaCare, at least in California.

If Socialism and one-party rule are so good, why do people have to lie about it, and break laws in attempts to bring it into being?

This is one reason Jerry Brown OK'd non physician abortions--it's cheaper for the people.

Do you really think your anecdotes explain the majority of the situation? Are reasons for having or lacking insurance (including obvious ones, like affordability, insurability) truly not amenable to quantification, or anything approaching a scientific, rational, empiric analysis?

bagoh20 said...

Every government program ever created started out less destructive and infinitely cheaper than it ends up later. This one is starting out abysmal in effectiveness, execution and cost. We can hardly wait. I guess maybe it's the cutting edge of big government doing what it does best - waste money, time, and potential. A whole notha level.

"What happens when enrollment increases?"

That's what everybody for and against it expected all along. It's only in the first stage now, and that's a total unmitigated failure. It can continue on this way and be a failure, but even if it improves substantially in the next stages, it will still be far below what any fair-minded person would call successful. Now it could do something incredible and completely out-strip the indications so far. Of course, North Korea could send a man to Mars too, but I'm not betting on it.

The good thing Ritmo is that this crapfest has done so terribly so far, that even a failure will still look like a success compared what everyone expects right now - including everyone involved in making it. When AND IF that milktoast arrives, you will tell us how awesome it is, take it and run it up the flagpole with a "Mission Accomplished" banner.

Yeah, based on what I've seen and heard. But I don't mean to speak for other states. The reluctance to enroll can be spun as an inability to enroll for only so long. And if the numbers of enrollees increases due to people recently dropped from "inadequate" plans, the Dems will pay for that next November anyways.

All these NSA revelations indicate more of a potential for Big Brother than actual mischief to American citizens (with the exception of cute girls who aroused the prurient interest of NSA analysts). But this wasn't the potential for Big Brother. This was the real deal. This crossed what Obama and all of us should consider a red line. This should be a huge scandal, but it isn't. Maybe that's an even bigger scandal. If you want to minimize the potential for harm from all these intrusive government programs, something bad has to happen to Lois Lerner and whoever else was involved in this.......I'm just spitballing ideas here, but the next time Lerner testifies before Congress maybe the Republicans can rig some kind of contraption that would spill a vat of pig offal on her when she raises her hand to take the oath. It would be great theater and serve to drive home the lesson that she did something very wrong.
