I was wrong. The peaches are good longer than one week. Apparently this has been an incredible year for Colorado peaches. It has from my point of view. For weeks they've been great, and right now they are fantastic.
The crumble is made with flour, butter, white sugar, lemon rind, salt, baking powder, the liquid is beaten egg

The peaches are diced, the juice of that lemon, brown sugar, vanilla. More here.

The peaches have been good this year. We also get Idaho peaches which are right up there w/ Colorado. We've been out east visiting my family. Spent some time in Vermont and we're now in Newport, RI. There is great food in the northeast, but better produce in the Midwest. However, the seafood meal we ate @ a restaurant named, Asterisk, was superb.
"Crumble" as a noun is gay.
Cute the way you made a piece fall off. Sort of like a glacier calving an iceberg.
Chip, would you a nice conformist and put a "recipes" tag on this?
I like to see that for all the things I want to make.
Thanks
Tag, okay.
I just started low carb back up yesterday.
