Idaho Sex Assault: Child Victim Trapped As Refugee Assailant Still Lives Next Door

The five-year-old girl victimized in a sex attack by Sudanese and Iraqi refugee boys in Twin Falls, Idaho, is too terrified to leave her home, partly because one of her attackers still lives next door, according to a civic volunteer who is working with the victim’s family.

On June 2, a 14-year-old Sudanese refugee in Idaho coached a 10-year-old Sudanese and a seven-year-old Iraqi boy as they cornered the child in the laundry room of Fawnbrooks Apartments, stripped her naked, touched her, and urinated in her mouth and on her clothes. The 14-year-old filmed the vicious attack until an elderly woman intervened.

Islamic gunmen holds dozens hostage inside Sydney cafe

Reports differ to the number of hostages ranging from a few dozen to forty. It is also not known how many gunmen are involved, possibly one.

Hostages were made to raise a Shahada flag belonging to the extremist group Jabhat al-Nusra, which is fighting the Assad government in Syria.

Five hostages have escaped.

The cafe is located in Martin Place considered the ceremonial heart of Sydney. The Cenotaph memorial is a few blocks down the street, the U.S. Consulate is located between them. U.S. personnel are instructed to evacuate the consulate and U.S. citizens in Sydney have been warned to be aware of their surrounding, to be on guard for potential threats. The area is in lockdown, Martin Place shut, traffic rerouted, planes diverted away from the city center.

The situation is presently in siege mode. Police are attempting to wear down the hostage taker(s).
