"Clinton emailed classified information after leaving State Dept."

NY PostOn May 28, 2013, months after stepping down as secretary of state, Clinton sent an email to a group of diplomats and top aides about the “123 Deal” with the United Arab Emirates. But the email, which was obtained by the Republican National Committee through a Freedom of Information Act request, was heavily redacted upon its release by the State Department because it contains classified information.

The markings on the email state it will be declassified on May 28, 2033, and that information in the note is being redacted because it contains “information regarding foreign governors” and because it contains “Foreign relations or foreign activities of the United States, including confidential sources.”

The email from Clinton was sent from the email account — hrod17@clintonemail.com — associated with her private email server.

The email’s recipients were Deputy Secretary of State William Burns, diplomat Jeffrey Feltman, policy aide Jake Sullivan, diplomat Kurt Campbell, State Department chief of staff Cheryl Mills, and Clinton aide Huma Abedin.

The “123 Deal” was a 2009 agreement between the United Arab Emirates and the US on materials and technological sharing for nuclear energy production.

“Hillary Clinton’s mishandling of classified information was so pervasive, it continued after she left government,” Republican National Committee research director Raj Shah told The Post. “She clearly can’t be trusted with our nation’s security.”

Clinton is believed to have sent 2,101 emails that contained at least some classified information.

"Clinton emails so secret some lawmakers can't read them"

Fox News: The emails in question, as Fox News first reported earlier this week, contained intelligence classified at a level beyond “top secret.” Because of this designation, not all the lawmakers on key committees reviewing the case have high enough clearances.

A source with knowledge of the intelligence review told Fox News that senior members of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, despite having high-level clearances, are among those not authorized to read the intelligence from so-called “special access programs” without taking additional security steps -- like signing new non-disclosure agreements.

Fox News is told that the reviewers who handled the SAP intelligence identified in Clinton’s emails had to sign additional non-disclosure agreements even though they already have the highest level of clearance -- known as TS/SCI or Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented information. This detail was first reported by NBC News.

This alone seems to undercut the former secretary of state’s and other officials’ claims that the material is "innocuous."

In an interview with NPR, Clinton claimed the latest IG finding doesn’t change anything and suggested it was politically motivated. (the Inspector General is an Obama appointee)

“This seems to me to be, you know, another effort to inject this into the campaign, it's another leak,” she said. “I'm just going to leave it up to the professionals at the Justice Department because nothing that this says changes the fact that I never sent or received material marked classified.”

Despite Clinton's claims, it is the content that is classified; the markings on the documents do not affect that.

I want a second opinion

"Second Review Says Classified Information Was in Hillary Clinton’s Email"
A special intelligence review of two emails that Hillary Rodham Clinton received as secretary of state on her personal account — including one about North Korea’s nuclear weapons program — has endorsed a finding by the inspector general for the intelligence agencies that the emails contained highly classified information when Mrs. Clinton received them, senior intelligence officials said...
The senior intelligence officials briefed on the findings of the review spoke on the condition of anonymity because they did not want to jeopardize their access to sensitive information...
President Obama signed an executive order in December 2009 that defined “Top Secret” as information that if disclosed could “reasonably” be expected to cause “exceptionally grave damage to national security.”
Madam president, there is a cancer growing on your presidency.

Hillary was a walking talking National Security risk for four years

"State Department spokesman Mark Toner said the emails in question were "subsequently upgraded" to classified. He stressed that none of the emails was considered classified at the time."
However, the sheer number of emails that have been redacted stands as the latest example of how much sensitive material was contained in Clinton's email transactions. The FBI is conducting an investigation into whether classified information that passed through Clinton's so-called "homebrew" server was mishandled. Clinton, the Democratic presidential front-runner, has repeatedly denied any wrongdoing.

The legal case against Hillary Clinton

"Excerpt of a Friday Aug. 14, Wall Street Journal Op-ed by former US Attorney General and former U.S. District Judge Michael B. Mukasey. (google headline to read article)
The highest step in this ascending scale of criminal penalties—20 years maximum—is reached by anyone who destroys “any record, document or tangible object with intent to impede, obstruct or influence the proper administration of any matter within the jurisdiction of any department or agency of the United States . . . or in relation to or contemplation of any such matter.”
So, for example, if Mrs. Clinton caused to be wiped out emails that might have been anticipated to be of interest to a congressional committee, such conduct would come within the sweep of the statute. That, by the way, is the obstruction-of-justice statute, as revised by the Sarbanes-Oxley law, passed by Congress in 2002 while Mrs. Clinton served as a senator, and for which she voted.
All of this is not to suggest that Mrs. Clinton is in real danger of going to jail any time soon.

"‘Top Secret’ emails found as Clinton probe expands to key aides"

"As pressure builds on Hillary Clinton to explain her official use of personal email while serving as secretary of state, she faced new complications Tuesday. It was disclosed her top aides are being drawn into a burgeoning federal inquiry and that two emails on her private account have been classified as “Top Secret.”"
“We will follow the facts wherever they lead, to include former aides and associates, as appropriate,” said Douglas Welty, a spokesman for the State Department’s inspector general.
Sen. Chuck Grassley, the Republican chairman of the Judiciary Committee, wants Clinton and her aides to “come clean and cough up” information about their personal email use.
“Both the State Department and Intelligence Community inspectors general should be looking into the staff use of the Clinton private server for official State Department business. This means giving both inspectors general access and custody of all emails that haven’t already been deleted,” said Grassley of Iowa. “From what is publicly known, it appears that the investigation thus far has focused so much on the former secretary of state, that it’s gotten lost that high-level staff apparently also used this server too.”

"Due to the nature of their contents"

"US officials will not release al-Qaeda leader's pornography stash"
Among the thousands of documents was what Reuters described in 2011 as a "fairly extensive porn stash".

Brian Hale, a spokesman for the Office of the Director of National Intelligence (ODNI), told The Telegraph that the pornography would remain classified even as details of Bin Laden’s other personal files were released.

Family letters revealed the intimacies of Bin Laden’s relationship with his wives and songs.

In August 2008, Bin Laden wrote to one of his wives, including a will: "If you want to marry after me, I have no objection, but I really want for you to be my wife in paradise."
I could tell you, but then I'd have to kill you.
