The Drudgery Of Staying Abreast*
This phrase by Camille Paglia (linked by Drudge) caught my eye and not for prurient reasons:

~ Camille Paglia writing in SalonWhat struck me is how she skillfully juxtaposed organic with inorganic -- "mineral wasteland" being another name for "inorganic." This is an old archetypical dichotomy in chemistry.
