This may get me fired

Since everybody else has posted, I guess it's my turn and I'm going to be unpopular. Guess why.

OK, it's the second week of July. Where is everybody? Out having fun, paying almost no attention to Fake News. And that includes the current hoohah over The List. This is largely being pushed by Fake News and a few commentators on the Right. Fake News is doing it because Trump's getting just about everything he's wanted and they have to try to bring him down.

It's what Fake News is there for.

Not going to do a linkfest, but those of the mind to do so, can look over the last week's posts on Gateway and will see there a lot of material about Epstein's patrons. Google possible Epstein client list. Whether there's a single list, I don't know and I really don't care. There's bigger fish out there. If Trump wants to go after somebody, I'd rather it be the Deep State Dwarf. He's responsible for the deaths of millions and probably a traitor, too. Trump is, whether anybody's noticed, firing hundreds at Justice to weed out the dead and corrupted wood. He's also got them looking into vote fraud, political corruption, ActBlue, Butler, and the election of 2020.

I'd say most of that is at least as important.

Now we get to the point that may get me fired. On the Right, this stuff is being driven by Tucker Carlson, among a few others. He led the charge on how we're being dragged in WWIII (more like WWV) by Israel. He's also been spouting off the idea Epstein was an Israeli agent. That, to me, smells like anti-Semitism. If Epstein was somebody's proxy, it could be Britain's, Germany's, France's, Red China's, or Poot's, as well. They could have all used that kind of info. But everybody likes to pick Israel, and I assume there's a specific rationale.

Hell, Churchill got us involved in Italy because he went to Franklin Roosevelt and cried on his sleeve about losing Tobruk, and Frank, being everybody's pal, ordered George Marshall to invade North Africa (which he didn't want to do) which led us into Italy and got a lot of guys killed (and we could have used those 7 divisions (8, if you count the Brazilians) in Normandy or elsewhere). Was Winnie a Joo?

I think a lot of this is people wanting to see all they ones they hate arrested. Who wouldn't want to see the entire Democrat party, the Grahamnesty caucus, people like Bill Gates, and Fake News shipped off on ConAir? I'd love it, but is it the most important thing in the world right now?

Hell, no.

I still like Trump, I still support him, I still believe in what he's trying to do, and I still trust him to do the right thing.

Take that as you will.

I just wish he would back off supporting the jews and ukraine. We don't need those problems.

Politics is the art of possible. Blaming Trump for the failures of the Big Beautiful Bill IGNORES how everybody in CONgress (spelling intentional) got to put THEIR two bits in so everyone NEEDED to vote for that political mystery meat hotdog and off she goes to Trump to sign or veto.

Simply walking away from all the troubles, the previous administrations have dropped into Trump's lap isn't possible.

THAT PLUS the deep state CIA and Co are running their OWN GAME and ignoring Trumps orders or subverting them for THEIR GOALS.

That's why the "No more Weapons for Ukraine" by Trump suddenly became more weapons for Ukraine.

I'm pretty sure the CIA showed Trump EXACTLY what happened to JFK and added Trumps family to the threatened list if he doesn't "Play Ball".

FWIW There was n ever a stop. There was a pause for some evaluations and it was restarted.

By Hegseth. There may be a lot of information out there, but much of it is misinformation, disinformation, and incomplete information. Same with the Epstein thing.

I appreciate what you're doing ed. Trump is a good man and he'll do what he can for us but I'm thinking his hands are tied in ways we can only guess at. He's not corrupt and he's anything but a coward but the nameless faceless guys behind the scenes could have him by the short hairs. People like Biden and Harris have no problem doing what they're told to do but we expect more than that from Trump. At what point and on what issues do our expectations become unrealistic?

I have similar thoughts, Dad Bones, and appreciate your comment, along with edutcher's willingness to present his opinion on the matter. I continue to be in wait and see mode. Whenever I hear Trump say, as he recently did again at the July 4 signing and flyover, how much Melania loves her Barron (who looks remarkably similar to the young Trump in the composite video recently released on Truth Social) I wonder at the risk Trump takes in doing so and the overall nature of the threats and opposition he lives under?

Thanks MamaM. It's a subject that people don't seem to be talking about. That might be because he does such a good job of giving the impression that he's the one running the show that we never consider that there are areas in which he might not be in charge. Some Democrats were foolish enough to think that Musk was telling Trump what to do but they're back to blaming Trump for everything.

He went into the White House thinking he could stop the war in Ukraine in one day. My guess, and that's all I'm doing, is that Putin, Zelinsky and even Netanyahu had a much better grasp on what Trump could and couldn't do than he himself did. That's why they could lie to his face and continue doing what they knew they had to do, thinking that Trump would eventually catch on and have to be the kind of president he never wanted to be.

So today, of course, Trump sent Patriot missles to Ukraine. He is a bloodthirsty war monger at this point. Send them nothing and the war ends. Don't care if the Russians win, not our circus, not our monkeys, but Trump knows that it's not his money, either. So send a few more billion, that means nothing to him. His moral compass is way out of whack.

Every issue he campaigned on has an expiration date.

No, I think you're going off without knowing all the facts. It was Hegseth that approved it and it was a break in the pause (short as it was) to evaluate what to do next (as I understand it). As for "bloodthirsty war monger ", I think that's way overdone.

FWIW I think the point is Trump is not the ATM Idiot and his minions were. The Ukes (I could be wrong on this) seem to be of a mind that it's over, but Poot is still determined to reconstruct as much of the old Soviet Union as possible. We may be seeing another July 20 situation in the making.

Thank you, ma'am.

Stop being a drama queen, Ed. As long as I am the administrator, nobody will be fired for their viewpoint. I base my actions on the Roman Huskra rule.

Everybody likes to be praised. Even Trump. Having his ass licked by the GOPe and the Deep State for bombing Iran gave him a chubby. He is turning against a large segment of his devoted base. Not a smart move.

He is subsidizing both the Jews and the Nazi's. He needs to pick a lane. Hopefully, he will put America First.
That's what I voted for.

Why are we spending even one dollar on the Nazi's in Ukraine? Also, Israel just bombed Syria today, when we are trying to bring them in on the Abraham Accords. What are we doing? Does he even know anymore?
