GIve Peace a Chance

Lisa and I have been spending a lot of time at the Oceanside Library. They had built a beautiful multimillion-dollar edifice, and it is great. We go to lectures and classes and are there five or six times a week.

We have been taking Tai Chi and Chair Yoga that even a fat crippled fuck like me can do. So what if eighty-year-old women are more flexible? I still get a lot out of it.

One of the best classes they have is sound healing. They have a native American woman who runs an hour class where you lay down and she plays various instruments that help you heal. I was very skeptical, but I have to admit it works.

She told me about this guy. I looked him up and YouTube and I have been listening to his stuff as background music. It is extremely therapeutic. Give it a chance.

There is a guy who I saw interviewed on Rick Beato's channel named Ted Gioia. He is a well-read musicaligist who has researched the history of music all the way back to Egyptian times, maybe even earlier.

He is convinced that music has healing power. The more I learn the more I agree with him.

It is good that you are letting those tones soak into your old self. And while I have not started chair yoga yet, that time may not be far off.

Keep movin', my brotha, it's all good.

All about the frequency, Kenneth. Colors can play a part too, with music and art capable of inviting and eleciting connections that extend beyond the reach of spoken/written words. Beauty and excellence are also capable of conveying and eliciting a sense of something More. In my view that which in our human world leads to more healing, integration and wholeness (within ourselves and with others) walks up to the edge of holy.

Appreciating the update and the link. I like to have this type of music playing when I am painting or pondering at the studio and haven't come on this one before.

Fourth comment in at the youtube link, by someone name Mamwise:
"this is healing my heart. All of the frequencies all the energy you are sharing are uplifting. I would highly recommend this to everyone who has experienced trauma, loss, disconnection from family especially the empaths who have been victims of narcissism.

These new people moved in across the yard and they really suck. So today it was the first really hot day of summer. I got in my Speedo and took my wok out and played it in the backyard while this long played on the Bluetooth.

Serenity now.
