Choices

We are all defined by the choices we make.

President Trump has chosen to abandon America First and involve us in a war in the Middle East. Right now, they are arguing over how much destruction they did to Iran. Whether or not the nuclear capacity was destroyed. The military and Trump say that it was "Obliterated." The lying media said it was not based on leaks from the Deep State. What's true? Who knows.

Just now that it was leaked to justify more war. More money for Cheney and Eye Patch McCain. More war. More Death.

Will Trump make the right choices?

Now I have my doubts.

Maybe you know of someone better suited to serve as our president and make the hard choices that suit your idea and ideal of what works best from your point of view. At this time in our country's history, Trump fits my category of "good enough"--as I see him as someone with good faith intentions and enough skills and lived experience to do a credible job of managing the incredibly difficult if not impossible job of leading and protecting our nation while reaching out to the other nations of the world, in keeping with his ideal of peace and prosperity.

The notion that he has chosen to abandon (abandon???) his focus on America First comes through as more All or Nothing thinking with a dose of Mindreading in the mix. It's not in keeping with Trump's character or the amount of resolve he revealed during his last four years of organizing, campaigning (and surviving) prior to this election.

Go ahead and have your doubts with regard to this President's ability to steer the ship in the direction you want to go, if that's what keeps your own boat of ideals afloat. Right now, outcomes are up in the air, and no one is in complete control of this situation as it continues to unfold.

Old saying, the perfect is the enemy of the good.

I don't. Right now, it looks like Trump did what needed to be done

The issue is whether the whole "The Joos" thing is real. I see a lot of Conservative blogs using it as a blind to let their proprietors blame anything they don't like on what George Orwell called The Other. Some may use another Other, but it's the same principle.

Situation is fluid, the FOG of propaganda is thick on all sides Liberal and otherwise. I think it's crazy for a RICH MAN to take on a DANGEROUS as in JFK vs CIA-AIPAC Dangerous job when he COULD have taken his pocket money and bought an island in the Carribean and lived a much less exciting lifestyle.

Read the whole thing. JFK was trying to get AIPAC registered as foreign influence.

In May 1963, the U.S. Senate Committee on Foreign Relations opened an investigation into the covert activities of foreign agents on U.S. soil, focusing in particular on the American Zionist Council and the Jewish Agency for Israel. [1] The investigation was prompted by a report from the Chairman of that standing Committee, Senator J. William Fulbright, written in March 1961 (declassified in 2010), stating: "In recent years there has been an increasing number of incidents involving attempts by foreign governments, or their agents, to influence the conduct of American foreign policy by techniques outside normal diplomatic channels." By covert activities, including "within the United States and elsewhere," Fulbright was referring to the 1953 "Lavon Affair" [2], where a group of Egyptian Jews was recruited by Israel to carry out bomb attacks against British targets, which were to be blamed on the Muslim Brotherhood so as to discredit Nasser in the eyes of the British and Americans.

I fear Trump is getting BAD INFORMATION to work in accordance with what fills the pockets of AIPAC politicians.

America has NEVER UNDERSTOOD Persians. They are NOT ARABS.

You can buy off the pride of Jews and Arabs. Serious offences against Persians is a blood feud.

Proverbs 21:14 and others speak to this: BTW Proverbs is IN the Torah.

New International Version
A gift given in secret soothes anger, and a bribe concealed in the cloak pacifies great wrath.

I suggest you do what you can to protect your family as bad times economically and socially are inbound. No amount of political fussing will feed nor shelter them for you.

Could Trump be blackmailed? He's undoubtedly fearless concerning his own safety but he does have a family that he loves and would seem to be at much greater risk than the families of Biden, Obama and Bush given the world Trump has inherited.
