I do the grocery shopping and see increasing inflation weekly. Inflation is a pernicious tax that hurts the least that can afford it.
Shrinkflation is happening, too. The price remains the same but the product shrinks more than George in the pool.

As an East Tennesseean we used to see Dolly on the local music TV show produced by Cas Walker (local grocery store magnate and Knoxville political force).She was inflated even then and it probably buoyed her career.
