Jon Bon Jovi sings Elton John's and Bernie Taupin's Levon

A lot better than Elton John does. From the album Two Rooms.

I love on the Album insert Bon Jovi writes, "Did you ever hear a song and think, oh man, I wish I had written that? That's what Levon is to me."

Bill Gaither (Christian/Gospel artist) used to say that he sang two kinds of songs: ones that he wrote and ones that he wished he wrote. Rolling Stone trashed the "Madman Across the Water" album that "Levon" was on when they reviewed it long ago. Shows what the experts know, eh?

Being

A: of Italian descent and

B: from Jersey (Newark born and raised)

I personally believe that Bon Jonjovi might possibly be one of the biggest friggin' dooshbags ever born

But that's just MY opinion...

Agreed Joe Jackson - He's a pretty boy with minimal talent.

Bernie Taupin just free wrote those lyrics. Yet they work really well without really saying anything particular. The listener is free to give them what ever meaning they want.

JJ: Bon Jovi can't be the biggest friggin dooshbag ever born--there are so many dooshbags out there!

Well, that was interesting and different but it's still Elton's song. Nothing against John Bongiovi. A hit is a hit, per Hesh from the Sopranos.
