Speaking of the BBC, we just started watching an old (2011) series called "The Hour." The female lead, Romola Garai, is stunningly gorgeous. It also stars Dominic West (he played Jimmy McNulty in "The Wire") -- I didn't even know he was British.
Boy clearly waddn't fum Bawmer, hell, he couldn't even get close to speaking like a native Baltimoron, although it was fun to watch him try. There were several locals hired to work on The Wire and their accents jump out at you if you know what to listen for. Local color. Authenticity. Gritty. Unintelligible, hon.

Attenborough's earnestness pisses me off.
His speech impediment is impressive, I must say.
Let's wait for Trooper's take on what Attenborough was really into.
