Phil from Wings of Pegasus analyzes Glenn Campbell's shredding country style

I forbade Phil from saying the words:
there
where
rare
aware
hair
here
Clark
players
guitar
radar
clear
hard
work
and oddly, he ignored my proscription and went ahead and said them anyway. Although thankfully he did not say "heart" or "party" or "world." So at least there's that. Even so, he delivers a remarkably astute and perceptive appreciation for the skill heard in American country music and that's rare among his age and his nationality where American country music generally does not resonate.

Incidentally, John Hartford wrote Gentle On My Mind, not Glenn Campbell. Duh. Everyone knows Glenn Campbell is the man who invented soup in tins.

Also, original member of the Wrecking Crew. Great gossipy movie, BTW.
