Florida: Man dressed as Fred Flintstone pulled over in his footmobile

The headline cracked me up.

For speeding. And that killed me from laughing.
According to Pasco County Sheriff’s Office’s Facebook page, a Wesley Chapel man, Don Swartz, was pulled over for speeding inside a residential complex in the Meadow “Bedrock” Pointe Subdivision. He was dressed as Fred Flintstone and his car was transformed into the cartoon’s “footmobile.”

Miami Herald.

Ordinarily, I'd say nice to see people with a sense of humor, but FL is way past farce as it is.

Raise your hand if you've ever been to Flintstone Village in Rapid City, SD. It's closed now, I gather.

Florida Man needs his own Comic book and TV show. Plus a catchy theme song.

This is a Trooper post, right?

That would entail a scantily clad Betty Rubble. Was she in evidence?

I heard a funny line. "Why did the Flinstone's celebrate Christmas?

That is NOT Fred Flintstone. Fred Flintstone had a more organized 60s Dad haircut. This looks like his slacker grandson who, of course, lives off Fred's residuals.
In Florida.
Of course.
All concerned are having a yabba dabba do time.
