I cannot see that picture and not think of this. Vince Guaraldi was yet another jazz genius.

Oh, yes, that album is a big part of what Christmas means to me.

I let that play and by golly there sure was some Christmas music in there - Christmas in August - there's a bit of a juxtaposition for ya.

When we were kids, my sisters and I would play Christmas albums for about a week in the summer.

I like it - for me, I like to listen to Chai-cough-skeez Nutcracker during the summer - for all of its familiarity, over-hype, and general BS that gets piled on it, there really are some nice tunes in that work. Now try not to picture Chinese mushrooms dancing. I dare you!

Not a problem, never really watched Fantasia, just bits with my kids. I was surprised my daughter liked it so much. She was probably about ten at the time. I think of the ballet. Need to go one year soon...maybe this one :)

That was The Christmas album when I was growing up, and still is.

Agreed. Charles Schulz did the world a huge favor by incorporating jazz into his projects.

I've spent many an hour listening to Alan Watts. But not that hour, yet.

I like to watch Dr. Zhivago when it is really hot outside. Titanic works too.

lol Evi. I saw a comment on one of those Scandinavian detective shows that said they liked to put their sweater on and feel all snuggly while they watch. As for me, when it was reported there would be less snow (it was a blizzard) on the next season of Trapped, I thought nooo!

Xray, I have the piano lessons segment keyed up to play.
