Well, that devolved quickly.
Martha MacCallum says this story begins with Rand Paul.
I'd say, the story begins with six high level officials abusing their security clearance, but what do I know about where stories begin?

I would tend to agree with you.
Yes, and don't just stop with those already named. The whole top of the FBI needs to be removed.
A couple weeks ago my mom asked who I would like to see president. I thought a second and said Rand Paul. Love me some Rand Paul. Trump/Paul 2020!
I heard today that there may be as many as 4 million former govt employees / military who still have security clearances? If so, what does it cost us to just keep track of all those with and without clearances? It sounds crazy and wasteful and inefficient to me if it is true.
Deborah - cherish your Mom.
My mother would be 100 this upcoming Sept 21st. She died on her 62nd birthday and really missed out some great grandchildren stuff etc. She was a dyed in the wool Dem-the youngest of 6 kids and was born to a newly widowed mother but my mother studied hard and got a scholarship to and graduated from UPenn. Almost every one of her grandchildren now has an advanced college degree.
I like Rand Paul too. He seems to want to keep it simple and cuts through the BS.
Rand is a good guy on domestic issues, but he seems to have a lot of Dad's La La Libertarian views on foreign policy and that's what did him in last time.
Deborah - be nice if we could have Rand at the top of the ticket. No weird baggage.
I don't think that would work even if desirable. Paul would be the perfect running mate AFAIK because of his sensibleness. But he has never taken the least bit hold in his at least two previous tries and would do as well in the future, I surmise. Would love to see him dodge and weave dealing with fallout from Trump's extravagances during the campaign :)
AJ, sorry, I meant to reply...yes mothers are to be cherished. Yours died so early. She sure was a go-getter, as my grama would have said :)
