Superlative Death Valley is one of the driest places on earth as well as the lowest. But, there is underground water and lots of it. At Badwater Basin, you can see it:

Death Valley is 282 feet below sea level. The Dead Sea, however, is about 1410 feet below sea level.

What a curious video - it's not the lowest point in the world, and it only has to get below 32 F for snow to fall, zero has nothing to do with it.

I did experience a rain storm in Death Valley once - we got somewhere in the neighborhood of 40 rain drops - can you imagine the energy that storm must have had when it hit the Sierras? For any rain to make it up and over those mountains it had to have been a mighty storm.

The Trio's last big hit, but they still had the mojo.

Was that your video CL? I figured it was someone else's. Had you done it I would have expected the narration to sound like Ronald Reagan - well, there he goes again!

Was not my video.

Phew - you had me worried there for a minute - I didn't make it too far in and realized that watch-wearing guy was wrong about everything. That seemed unlike you.
