Elton is one heck of a singer/songwriter - I was in awe of his ability to play and sing at the same time - I was only ever able to do that on one song our group used to perform.
Jerry Lee Lewis was another guy who could do that. I think it is safe to say their styles were a bit different.

Elton was my favorite musician for decades (until Anders Osborne replaced him). Great cover of a great song.
