Someone anonymous speaking on the record said the layoffs will not just affect senior officials but entire teams.
“Many staffers were being told not to come to work tomorrow, they are still finalizing the full list of people who are out.”Lucian Wintrich says the press will spin this as a president in scandal while it's actually just President Trump streamlining his administration with individuals he feels are best for the job to push his agenda robustly as possible.
Wintrich writes more mean stuff about Shulkin, you should read it. It's fun.
This too is mean, but I like it when public officials get axed. They get to comfortable and complacent and arrogant in their lofty positions forgetting they work for the public and not the other way around. I'm enjoying seeing this president who just doesn't give a f about public employees' precious careers. It's a big part of the reasons why Trump was elected, after all.

Now that's twice as funny. Mostly likely a career enhancement. It makes him available for CNN commentator with increase in pay.
