Adam Schiff grabs at straws as he sinks

Adam Schiff misleads his constituency. He's the man with nervous leg syndrome and the wild eyes and the apparent early onset Parkinson's syndrome. Schiff is Minority Chair of the House Intelligence Committee.

Congress created the FBI and the DOJ and put them under control of the Executive branch. Trump is chief executive over both FBI and DOJ. They are his departments. It is in his legal rights to reform both departments however he pleases.

The four-page Nunes memo is a Legislative product that consolidates and summarizes FISA court abuse by the FBI  has been turned over for executive review. President Trump is prepared to permit declassification of this intelligence so the public can know the mischief these departments inflicted upon us to invalidate a duly elected president and to destroy Trump.

Nunes (Legislative branch) shared the memo with FBI director Christopher Wray (Executive branch) adhering to process. Wray suggested small changes of grammar and tweaking specific wording, as they do. Two small edits were made by FBI.

Relying on people not knowing the FBI is under the executive branch, Schiff claims disingenuously that any changes made to the initial work make the process inappropriate because they have not been approved by Legislative branch.

Adam Schiff along with legacy media and other people such James Clapper along with legacy media are trying and failing to portray DOJ and FBI as a fourth branch of government. And High School level civic education is generally so poor in this country they're having some success with their believers. Where belief fills in for knowledge. Disabusing these believers of this desperate subterfuge, if that is possible, takes nothing short of reeducation. Partisan loyalty is a powerful thing, after all.

Adam Schiff tweet:
BREAKING: Discovered late tonight that Chairman Nunes made material changes to the memo he sent to White House – changes not approved by the Committee. White House therefore reviewing a document the Committee has not approved for release. pic.twitter.com/llhQK9L7l

Desperate. Flailing. Grabbing at straws. Sinking. The link in the tweet works.  Follow it to see Schiff's nonsense working on some of his followers. Twitter is always so disheartening. But not entirely, this time. Hearteningly, most responses are sensibly better informed, although still very rude. Schiff takes American citizens to be stupid, and he probably has good reason to think that, but there are plenty of citizens ready to show him otherwise. Most Twitter responses are not having it.

From Sundance at the Last Refuge. The Conservative Treehouse. Frankly, the best place on the internet right now. The clearest most comprehensive you'll see. The post is titled "Today should be Memo Release Day."
The memo is classified legislative work product of the legislative branch.  The legislative branch is asking the executive branch to declassify the memo.  When Devin Nunes invited FBI Director Christopher Wray to review the memo on Sunday night he was inviting the executive branch to preview the work-product prior to submission.
It would be ordinary for any minor executive-branch-requested adjustments to be made, prior to submission/approval for executive declassification.  That’s exactly what happened.
Minor adjustments were made at the request of the FBI Director prior to submission for declassification approval.   Majority Chairman Devin Nunes shared those adjustments with Minority Chair Adam Schiff.
Thank you, Sundance, whoever you are.

Given how cornered these deep state operatives at the FBI feel themselves to be by the release of the memo (see the Lou Reed video on the previous post) I sure hope Trump's Secret Service team is on high alert. Maybe even beyond Red Alert. What would that be -- Purple?
