Sanctuary cities.

Uh-oh.

These jurisdictions were contacted by Justice Department and urged to reconsider their policies of harboring immigrants in the U.S. illegally, and lecturing these jurisdictions they are undermining the rule of law.

* Chicago, Illinois
* Cook County, Illinois
* New York City, New York
* State of California
* Albany, New York
* Berkeley, California
* Bernalillo County, New Mexico
* Burlington, Vermont
* City and County of Denver, Colorado
* Fremont, California
* Jackson, Mississippi
* King County, Washington
* Lawrence, Massachusetts
* City of Los Angeles, California
* Louisville Metro, Kentucky
* Monterey County, California
* Sacramento County, California
* City and County of San Francisco, California
* Sonoma County, California
* Watsonville, California
* West Palm Beach, Florida
* State of Illinois
* State of Oregon

Wow. Cities, counties, and whole states put on notice.

Glad to see Denver on the list. And the mean-streak inside me would be satisfied seeing politicians dragged off. And I'm glad to see Sessions isn't busting a move on compliance with federal marijuana laws. Yet. But doing this shows he has the propensity for it and it's just a matter of present priorities. But even there I don't have a dog in the fight. In either of the fights. Frankly. I like every immigrant that I've met. And I like everybody I've met in the pot shops nearby. They're all lovely people. Every last one that I've met. But that's my direct experience and has nothing to do with national concerns.

What do you think?

Either enforce our laws or get rid of them. Picking and choosing which will be enforced will lead to chaos and injustices in a country with 300 million people.

I am not of fan of legalizing since regular use ruins people's minds IMHO.

Why the Governor of California and the Mayor of NYC are not arrested is beyond me. Apparently it's not lawbreaking if those with clout decide to break the law.

We ordinary people, taxpaying citizens, can't get away with breaking Federal laws, much less State Laws or Local laws, yet the Democraps who run these cities and states have determined that they don't need to pay attention to the Federal Government.

At the same time, they expect tax dollars from other States and taxpayers outside of their lawless states to cough up money with out any questions. They won't follow the laws but when there is a disaster or they run short of funds they want $$$ from everyone else. Why should the people of Arkansas or Texas subsidize lawless States like California.

As I recall, there was a big war in the US over States deciding that they were above the law. Either you can't get away with it....or you can and there are no laws.

The Feds need to arrest those officials who are breaking the law and encouraging others to do the same. I would love to see them frogmarch Governor Moonbeam Brown right into jail.

I am shocked that the entire state of Mass is not on the list. No Boston, Cambridge or Somerville? Weird-our mayors brag about it.

BTW-I got a new rare clumber puppy. He was from Mechanicsburg, PA.

Introducing Baxter at his first Vet Appt. The vet staff had never seen a rare clumber before and they were freaking.

He is a real dick magnet.

Don't just arrest the mayors and governor, arrest every city council member and every member of the state legislature. Send them to Guantanamo and declare martial law.

Titus, pictures please.

This is what Sessions has been doing.

No complaints.

And, yeah, nobody else has had the guts to go this far.

The entire state of California (a/k/a State of Decrepitude) is a sanctuary now. I'd say lock up Moonbeam but he's actually talking occasional sense now that he's not up for reelection. (Now angling for Senior Statesman Sinecure so needs to talk some sense.) Whatever. Lock him up anyway. Useless old fart. I'd also recommend locking up Xavier Becerra, "Attorney" General, Ostensible Head Law Stooge and Useless Resume Building Hackosaurus (just being honest) but he's just a front guy for Eric Holder. Still, it might slow him down a bit. ICE is out in force around the Bay Area arresting illegals who have committed crimes. Gasp! Horror!!

The government of California no longer works for the actual people of California. Latest cases in point:
-New law allows California DMV to automatically sign illegals up as voters;
-Cali government angling to siphon off business profits through new tax;
-California voted on a proposition to set aside billions for building reservoirs. We need it. Drought, population boom, etc. Now the California Water Commision is denying half of the proposed projects because they have no "public benefit" which turns out to mean that they do not pass (absurd) environmental standards.
Also, we (meaning my fellow Californians, not me) keep voting for taxes to repair the roads but the roads are complete crap. It's like driving on the surface of the moon in areas. I blew out a tire last year driving through Oakland.

There is footage a video of Denver leftist flunkies telling other flunkies they will be arrested if they follow our immigration laws.
