AJ: So what? No fuckin' ziti now?
In the early 60s, the sweetest voice this side of Heaven belonged to Patsy Cline.
Eine kleine Clinemusik is a great way to start a new year, CL. Thanks. On a related note, I never did like that Cline family - they were not nice people, in my experience.
Ross Perot loved her classic hit, Crazy.
My favorite Pasty Cline song She's got youHer singing is just effortless and magical. Original 1962 tv clip.
I like Coal Miner's Daughter. An all around great movie, with insight into the Cline-Lynn friendship. I wouldn't have thought it would interest me, but it's one of those movies, like Casino, that I will watch if it happens to be on.
The Reclines were named in tribute to her.
Cline's furniture up on Market Street was her ex-husband's family business, now defunct. Who knew that Cline was a Scottish name, unlike the Klines who ran the paving business - their name was German. The things you learn along the way.
